Can someone invite me to a quest? I've never been in one.

Watch out everyone. There are salty haters in this thread. These commonly known species are known for their cancerous posts/comments. Watch out M8's.
Also to all the people who commented hate comments on this thread, thanks for adding more comments so it can be higher on the list of threads :)
"Is this thing- okay, it's on. Log number 453: I'm still searching for this... Relic, I've heard it called. I have a new lead, and am in the process of following it. My day has be - ah, these rations suck - it's been pretty bad, seeing that a giant blizzard just HAPPENED to hit Chicago JUST as I get here... I mean, does anyone else have this sorta luck? Anyway, this Vex relic has been around for ages, and I honestly think it might give us some clues about the hive mind. More specifically, it could be the precursor to the original timeline jumping mechanism. This could tell us how and where the vex travel, which in turn could give us their locations before they get there! You know... I really wish I could say that the whole situation with the vex is getting better, but they're getting smarter. They're blocking off every timeline. They know what I'm looking for and are killing off the timelines that have it... Am I marked or something? How can they tell? I just wish I had more information on what's going on. If it sounds like I'm desperate, I really am. I need to know what's up with this, or... Man, I haven't really thought about it have I? I mean -" Ax saw a movement through the blinding snowstorm around him, though he continued to trudge on. "Hold on... I think I saw something. Looks like I'm ending this one early. Calahann, out." Dew, his dog, began to get restless, and that was never a good sign. After a few minutes of growling, he made a quick turn, and Ax took note. He pointed his gun straight at the newcomer. "Hello, my friend. I just hope that you aren't pointing a gun back at me, specifically one of a higher caliber."

INCOMING TRANSITION: MERCURY __________________________________________________ The Traveler is a huge ball in the sky. There is nothing else to say. There is no Light, there is no Darkness. There is only what we perceive as great. The Vex, the Cabal, the Taken. None of it is this false Satan we all think it is. You are all being screwed. Your "Grimoire, is propaganda fed to you to keep you in an army that supports no cause. Your Speaker is a false prophet, a human ruse. Rise. Resist. Rebel. You're being lied too. Join us. We will show you the answers __________________________________________________ That was the message Cain heard right before landing at Mercury. He was sitting there, waiting for someone to follow. Then, it happened. Ships from all different locations jumped to Mercury, and Cain was standing there to greet them, and hope that they are there for the same reason as he.

Edited by WaxierTube48: 1/9/2016 3:13:02 PMTime's Vengeance (cont.) The Tower / The City / Earth Jerrall enters the Hall of Guardians. Cayde immediately takes notice. "So, you decided to take up the offer? I knew you had it in you, old pal." Jerrall remains unamused. He was up for a joke before, but times have changed for him, and he couldn't trust Cayde anymore. Not after the Dare. "It's not your offer, Six. You had nothing to do with this. This is for Tevis, for Aryel, and for everyone else we left behind." "I see. Well, good luck. And, maybe, you'll come back this time?" "Screw you, Cayde." NLS Travel / Solar System Jerrall's Ghost materializes in the cockpit of his ship, the Ticktock Inquisitor. "So... I guess we can call this our reunion party? Well, our second one. You know, with the first being when I first found you, so long ago. And we have a few friends to celebrate with this time. Like starting over." Jerrall grins. He knows Ghost is confused - they haven't seen each other in years, and there isn't much good to talk about. But they've been through everything, and the Ghost is his only real connection that still exists. "Yeah... friends. Maybe we can finally have those again. That Titan... I haven't spoken to once of their order since First Light. Jäger-33 reminds me of Cayde. I don't know why; maybe it's just the Exo. But I think we can get along. And that Alice Long... she's something else, isn't she? They're no Ghost Angels, but I think this group will get along just fine. It'll be just like old times." "I certainly hope so. I'll be dematerialized for the rest of the trip. Enjoy the view, Guardian." Settlement Ruins / Olympus Mons / Mars On the windswept plains on a mountain ledge, a boot materializes in the dust. "Ugh, sand. I hate sand." Jerrall's helmet closes around him, and it's eyes illuminate with a yellow glow. He ties his tattered gray cloak around his neck and scours the terrain. Above and below, Cabal bases and Vex structures battle for control of the mountain. He steps forward and waits for the others to arrive. [Open to Alice Long (MegaBeast42), Jäger-33 (Jager), Wolf (RedWolfLegend) and Beast Fire 808, as well as anyone else who wants to join :)]

Time's Vengeance Tavern / The City / Earth A cloaked figure slips into the crowd of one of the City's taverns. In the Tower, this would be considered unusual, but in the City in its shadow, ragged survivors have developed an eye for stranger events. Only one notices - a man alone in a booth, noticeably different than most Citizens. They've seen the Darkness, but not like he has, and they know this. The stranger approaches his booth, and slides into the opposite seat with a casual familiarity. The man raises his eyes. "I thought your kind stayed in your Tower." He looks around. "You know, most of the people down here don't even believe in you." The figure drops his hood, and a pair of orange eyes meet his. "No... They don't." "Neither do I." The Exo's mechanical face rearranged into disappointment, animated by an art lost to humanity. "Jerrall... There's something we need to talk about. We need your help." Jerrall stared deep into the Exo. "You need my help? What about when I needed yours? You left me for the Vex to win your Dare! For four years I was trapped in those jungles while you rotted in that Tower, not sending a single scout for my name! I should've known better after you abandoned Aryel on Olympus Mons. All you have left is Tevis - will you abandon him too?" The Exo reeled. Something had struck a blow deep within him. "That's... what I wanted to talk about." Jerrall realized his offense. "No..." "Tevis is gone, Jerrall. Taken by the Vex in the Black Garden. One of my Hunters found his Bow just recently. Aryel, Kiril, Talia, and now Tevis... we're all that's left." "You're all that's left. I'm not going back out there. I left the Tower behind. I'm a man of the City now." "Don't you want to protect this City? Look, I know I've done a lot of wrong in our time. But ever since the Dare, we've been almost... systematically targeted by the Vex. I can't leave the Tower - I'm stuck as a Mentor. But you can find out why. Avenge our brothers and sisters. Avenge Tevis." Jerrall sighed. "Is it a even a choice at this point?" The Exo smiled. "I knew you couldn't stay out of the field for this long. Your Ghost and equipment are still in your quarters. I'm giving you free reign over this one: recruit any help you need. The whole Tower is at your disposal. I think you know where to start." "Thanks, Cayde." The Tower / The City / Earth "Welcome back." The familiar mechanized voice echoed throughout Jerrall's quarters. "I was afraid the Speaker was going to send me to find a new Guardian. I wasn't looking forward to another hundred years of searching debris." "Yeah, yeah," Jerrall replied, fastening his gauntlets. "Where's the NitC?" "I've kept them safe in transmat to avoid any loss of condition. Here they are." The familiar rifle formed in Jerrall's hands - a dated model, discontinued by the Vanguard, but honored among newer, fresher Guardians. He walked out of his quarters and into the Tower Plaza, where the City below arose from its slumber. That luxury was lost to him once again. "Ghost, open local communication channel 001. This is Jerrall Vandark. Calling any Guardians with a desire to investigate Vex structures and Minds across the System." He approached the railing overlooking the City and gazed out at the Traveler, wondering what inspired it to offer him this second chance... [Open to anyone :D]

The Trail of a Lost Guardian One Year before Oryx invaded our Solar System, there was a Hunter by the name of Artemis Vale. One of the most elite Guardians we had, and one of the first Nightstalkers, she disappeared on a mission to Venus, investigating a Taken Surge of power. Her last known Coordinates were somewhere around the Citadel. As she went to the back of it, we lost her signal, and couldn't find it again. Now, a year later, a distress beacon with her signature has been located beneath the Citadel. Go to the Citadel, rescue the Hunter, and bring her back safely. How will you know when you see her? She wears Silver and Black trials armor. Good luck, Guardian.

Edited by Zalamiir: 1/6/2016 7:01:21 AMAnswers in the Darkness Dark Side of the Moon Anaxis-12 looked out the view screen of his jumpship, Fatal Vision, out at the black gulfs of space and across the dark horizon of the Moon. His Ghost, Maxus, hovered over the dashboard, overseeing the scanners as they scanned for an entrance of some kind into the bowls of the Moon, but have so far come up empty handed. They had been at this for at least an hour. Alice was already here, searching for an entrance on the ground. He didn't like this place. It was said that this sector of the Moon always stayed the way it was now. Even when the sun itself shined on its surface, it never got brighter. A perfect place for the Darkness to fester. Though he hated being here, he was anxious to get down on the surface. Finally, he had something that would- hopefully- reveal where Grixis had gone, and what he's been doing this whole time. But first he had to find- He was torn from his thoughts when a ping sounded from the dashboard. He looked over at Maxus, who was already looking into whatever the sensors picked up. "Up ahead, one-hundred meters. Sensors picked up a hallowed spot close to the surface." He reached up and flicked a switch, turning on the ship's external spotlight. When he got to the designated location, he was pleased to know that his search was over. Down below, his spotlight illuminating the area, was an open area, no doubt with an opening due to a large Hive temple gate. What was odd though, and quite unsettling, was that the gate was already open. He then opened the comm channel so that the only other souls in the area could find him. "Alice, Garuud, we found an entrance into the Moon. It's close to the disturbance that Emaria felt as well. Sending my coordinates. Be advised, the Hive gate for the entrance is already opened. Out." After that, he and Maxus Transmatted out of the ship and onto the surface, rifle in hand. The only light source coming from his ship and kept on the entrance. Now, he waited in the dark. Edited by MegaBeast42: 1/3/2016 3:28:00 AMOkay, I'm just posting this for everyone who tries to hate on us who enjoy this type of stuff. We are creative, but we don't know the best way to express it, so we join with other people who enjoy this type of stuff to make joint storylines in our spare time. Yes, we could be doing better things instead of this, like playing the raids for the bazillianth time, but we just enjoy this type of stuff where we actually feel like we are creating something that other people like instead of grinding constantly for that 320 piece of challenge gear for ourselves. I know that this is going to get a few hate comments from people like 'Salty' or 'Synth' (can't remember the rest of your name sorry), but just remember when you do post whatever you'll post that I- no, WE are all real life people too who play games just like you. And if you wanna fight me, you'll meet nothing more than a pacifist. Sincerely: MegaBeast42

Edited by mandog_123: 1/4/2016 7:16:39 AMThe sky was darkening but there was still some sun left in the sky leaving a strange orange color like Venus's sky's although it was much darker. There seemed to be volcanic ash in the air. Diamedes was in the tower with many other guardians that all looked afraid of something. Diamedes looked back up at the sky and saw the horror. Thousands of hive ships where attacking the tower and the Traveler was crumbling. Knights, Wizards, and ogres dropped from the ships and landed amidst the guardians. One by one the guardians were slaughtered, they were no match for the darkness. Diamedes and five others retreated toward the back of the tower to make their last stand but on their way they saw zavala, Ikora, and Cayde mounted on large spikes. The bodies were motionless and it was clear they were dead. All of a sudden up in the sky, Oryx appeared and behind him a large black cloud, presumably the darkness, surrounded the six guardians, Oryx laughed then a blinding flash killed them all. "Wake up!" Diamedes awoke in a hospital in the city sweating from the nightmare he had his Ghost beside him. "What the hell was that?" "A nightmare obviously but judging from how fast your heart was beating it must've been really horrible" Diamedes pondered over the nightmare he had for a few moment before talking again. "How am I alive, I'm pretty sure that knight had killed me" "I managed to take you to orbit from the moon and we got here in time, if I'd have taken any longer you would've died" "Although your leg was badly injured they managed to save it and you might be able to walk on it again but your arm... Well losing an arm suck but luckily we got you a fully functional robotic arm." Diamedes lifted his left arm moving it in various motions testing it out. "Well at least it's symmetrical to my right" "You're happy about it?" "Well I know it sucks losing an arm but I got a robot arm now which is cooler and I could be reckless with it, I could shoulder charge Valus Ta'aurc's balls of steel without breaking my hand now not to mention I could use it as shield. It's strong enough right?" "Of course it's made of the strongest metals our solar system has to offer" "Ghost can you fetch me my sword it needs a good sharpening after that fight" "Sure thing" Ghosts spawns in Diamedes sword and he begins sharpening it. "Thanks Ghost, for everything the sword getting the hell out of there and for being a friend. I don't have many friends yet you're always there motivating me to go on." "Your welcome, it's my pleasure." Diamedes focuses his attention on the sword again sharpening away. (Open)
