Just wondering.
I started playing destiny around two weeks ago. I just have the original version but im about to download the legendary edition as we speak. Ive done about all the missions but i suck at the crucible lol. Im lvl 34 and 169 light. Im wodering if thats par for the course and or what i need to do to get up to speed with some of you bad asses. I need some of those weapons that are owning me in the crucible lol. Thanks for input.

1 ReplyIf I were you, I would just start up the new TTK game and play the story. You will see and get lots of new things, and will hopefully enjoy all of the new quest lines. There is really no rush to finish or do anything unless you like to obsessively finish and acquire things(I am guilty of this). Just do the things you like to do. Personally, I really like the weapon and drawn out process of acquiring the Touch of Malice, but for some this was not something they wanted to do. If I had to give you one piece of advice, it would be to equip higher level blues that you get to boost the overall light level of your character continually. You will then keep getting higher and higher level items to drop. Also when turning in engrams, do it one at a time, so that you can keep equipping higher drops that you get. By the time you get to 290+ light with the Story, Strikes and Court of Oryx, you will have plenty of Legendary items to infuse the high level Blues into and be ready for the Raid if you are interested. Also, the 3 of Coins Xur sells can really make it easy to get to 308-309 once you get some raid drops to take you over 300.
