Vault Raiders: Part-1 (A Destiny Fanfiction)

[b][u][i]Author's note:[/i][/u][/b] Welcome to the sixth chapter of Everything Changes. Hope you enjoy and here have a cookie *hands you a cookie* As the day came to a close the Raid team was getting prepared for the the day that was to come. Anon sat in the building where most Exo's stayed, rummaging through his weapons trying to decide what to use. Truth awoke to fine to find herself in her own bed, in unaware of how she had gotten there. She already had a plan for tomorrow so she decided she would go out. Now, she sat in the Tower's bar flirting with guys while drinking to her heart's content. Ikora and Cayde looked through the armory, where almost all weapons were stored, figuring out what they wanted to use. Kabr and Dredgen had set up camp where the Raid team would meet the next day. Kabr took apart his gun and cleaned the barrel, then reassembled it. Dredgen had gone hunting leaving his knife in the ground near Kabr. ------------------------------------------------------ [i]The Next Day[/i] The Vanguard ship entered Venus's and dropped off Ikora, Cayde, Truth and Anon near the Vault. "Cayde where are we?" asked Ikora. "Seems like the Citadel," he responded "Not to far from the Vault." Anon pointed toward the direction they needed to take. "That way,'' he said, walking in the direction he pointed. Truth and the other followed in suit. After a few minutes of unnerving silence the Team arrived at where Kabr and Dredgen had set up camp. "Bout time you guys got here." Dredgen said. "Leave them alone. Knowing your fate isn't easy." Kabr told Dredgen, shooting him a glance. "Whatever you say MASTER TITAN." Dredgen said sarcastically. The Raid Team went over the plan once again and the Raid began. Cayde and Anon took the left Sync Plate, Ikora and Truth took the right Sync Plate, and finally Kabr and Dredgen took the middle one. The three teams of two held off the waves that attacked their respective plates. This went on for about a minute and then a Pratorian smacked Cayde into a pillar. Anon charged at the monstrosity, pulling out his Shotgun. He pulled the trigger and held it down, stopping only when he heard the Minotaur's dying screech. Cayde got to his feet and slumped against the wall. He pointed towards where the Pratorian had come from and Anon saw a Hogoblin charging up his line rifle. The image of how Geyser died flashed in Anon's eyes and he summoned his Golden Gun. Aiming it at the Hogoblin, he pulled the trigger. The Hogoblin disappeared in a orange light and imploded with itself. After that the Vex stopped coming. Kabr radioed in and informed the group that the spire was activated. The Raid Team rendezvoused at the middle Snyc Plate. And they entered the Vault. This part came out earlier because I'm might be busy for the next week.
