Etheric Light: Hoard it or NOT?
So my guardian homeys and I were thinking... if etheric light will increase a weapons damage to the the highest level in the current expansion/version of the game, does this mean on day one of The Taken King I can bring my favorite legendary to the new max damage/level. Or has the damage/light system in TTK invalidated ethiric light altogether. Thoughts?

1 ReplyStrategy: Use it to ascend all the gear you plan to keep for sentimental reasons, but keep one. It will become the Jackolyte of year two. Otherwise it's useless. Year two gear doesn't use it and there's no exchange for it.

On the description for Ascend, it says bring power or whatever of the item to the max level of Year [i]1[/i].
