Sorry if this is inappropriate for this section. But i really believe in this idea.
Being a die hard lore fan and enjoying many other series lore such as Mass Effect, Dead Space, and of course Halo. I had an idea to get more people into the lore by creating a database in the game on the characters,Locations,Species,Technology, and factions that make up the destiny universe.
Now if you have played the Mass Effect series you know of a neat feature called the Codex which is a database that gives information on the many species locations and events that happen in the Mass Effect universe. My goal is the same. This idea would not eliminate the Grimoire at all but help it putting the information of destiny into more laymens terms come on the grimoire can be sometimes confusing even for a dedicated lore fan.
Like the Codex the Atlas would be in game. Here is an example of an entry for the Atlas.
Saint-14 Would include a picture of the Character
Height?
Weight?
Faction
Race
Date of Birth
Date of Death if Applicable
Then a biography on the character a couple of paragraphs telling us about him

Yeah, this would be pretty cool. But they'd have to make it a cool or important area, or else the Warlocks would get pissed their knowledge isn't being preserved. Perhaps a library near the Speaker would be nice.

Edited by Alemyr: 1/11/2016 4:13:04 AMThis is a blatant plagiarism of no mans sky. Hello games No mans sky will have an info base for all findings of players when the game comes out on a network called the atlas, storing species, planets, star systems, and who discovered what. You probably didn't know that of course, haha.
