Bungie and their DLC, what do you think?

We are entering what I consider to be destiny's first prominent quiet period since launch. In this post I'd like everyone to discus and share their opinions, regarding the various factors compounding the issue, in relation to Bungie numerously (and almost whimsically) revising their release strategy for the next DLC instalment. As well as how this is related to the success of Destiny (on a relative scale when compared to the competition) and the companies attitude to us the players.
