Tbh re roll it, yes counter balance is like the best if not top three for the first row and field scouts top also. But ur missing what makes it awesome. Crowd control. I believe this and field scout to be a top priority over counter balance or rodeo or rangefinder. Yea stability is mode but extra dmg> look at my locks he's what u want :)

Unless you get one in the first spot. I've got persistance, field scout, and crowd control and it can wreck in anything.

Crowd control. switching between those barrels depending on the map. from what I've noticed controlling the hammer's side to side recoil is much harder than vertical. Rodeo is the one that helps with side to side control along with overall stability. That gun is powerful enough it kills anyone with 3 headshots or four body shots. That's also a very hard roll to get. I've spent about a hundred and fifty motes on two Hammers and still don't have a perfect one. if you have at least 60 motes I would say reroll. If you are down to 20 keep what you have. It's been my experience that it may take you quite a while to get something good. The last Hammer I just got a few hours ago has aggressive ballistics, persistence, field scout, crowd control and I'm not rerolling it even though I really like having rodeo for PvP. I just don't have the motes to try it right now. I figure I have three and one of them is pretty good for pvp. The other two I shoot aliens with

Depends on how many notes you have and if you wanna risk it Good perks except for grenadier

Grenadier is a worthless perk. First perk, aim for Counter balance or Rodeo, then try for field scout, and finally get Crowd Control or Feeding Frenzy. 9/10 Jolders right there. If you get aggressive ballistics or CQB ballistics in the first tree, that makes it a 10/10
