Greek mythology in destiny!!! –ever wonder why the gorgons kill you with a simple stare. Youd think since they might be lonely that they wouldn’t kill the first adventurer to come into their sights but this is why. While descriptions of Gorgons vary across Greek literature and occur in the earliest examples of Greek literature, the term commonly refers to any of three sisters who had hair made of living, venomous snakes. If anyone is even somewhat into Greek mythology you would realise that this is a description of the famous Gorgon called Medusa. This is a cool fact to know which also gives premise to the next fact I’m about to tell you.
Atheon is a good vex- We all know that all aliens and mobs in destiny fall into different categories, the fallen with their houses, cabal with their legions etc. Did you know that Different vex don’t like each other? The Hazen protective “clan” of vex follow Atheon. Atheon is a –hold on let me get this right- accusative singular of atheos. An atheos is an atheist, term applied to those who thought to reject the gods worshipped by the larger society. If we “study” the vex in the last mission of non dlc missions “the black garden” we see the vex worshipping a dark… god. These followers are the sol divise. We might in later dlc maybe vex void see these two clans fighting mabey.
Pokemon and other doors!!! – I know its childish but I like pokemon. This is one of my favourite facts but some of the cabal doors resemble a pokemons pokeball colours. Also an ascendant energy has a resemblance of a pokeball. Now to the doors. Did you know if you take out your ghost beside most enemy doors they open?
Ok I hope you enjoyed these facts and if you like it tell me and ill get to making more for you guys.
