So it's a pretty simple question: Do you want to make video games? Just like Bungie made Halo, and now Destiny; do you want to be a part of that career?
If you do, are you planning on going to college for it or are you teaching yourself?
Personally, I've been developing a game on my own for about a year now, and I'm looking for like-minded persons who might want to help on the project.
I am self taught (video game design degrees are EXPENSIVE!) I do have a LOT more to learn, but plan to finish at least one game in my life time. It's on my bucket list.

Ever since I started playing games and saw the creative abilities of those who've striven to deliver an amazing experience I knew I wanted to endear many fans alike. I hope to achieve my own successes, though. Completely self taught, completely independent. It may seem like I aim too high, but I believe a man is made of his own effort to achieve no matter the cost.

I know now that I would love to do that. Unfortunately I've already been through all but the last year of completing a degree in Electrical Engineering. I don't have the resources to switch majors or do a double major at the moment. Maybe some day I'll go back and learn.

I do hope to fully break in one day. I voted college degree but I'm not exactly studying game design/development at school. Picked up a couple of degrees in Computer Engineering so far and lately decided to take as many game development classes as I can as well as doing a few projects on the side to build a good portfolio and land an industry job. Managed to get an internship last summer which will undoubtedly go quite a ways to getting another position but I still don't consider myself "broken in" yet.

I would love to that's why I'm going to college to study it.
