Nothing better than the one that started it all cuz without Kanto we wouldn't have the others lol
-
Glorious Hoenn master race >Best Pokemon >Best Geography >Best Music >Best Rival/Player designs
-
Platinum is the best Pokemon game ever made. Two regions, it had all the original pokemon as well as second and third gen pokemon. After the Gold/Silver reboots Pokemon became SHIT
-
Kanto Because Charizard and Dragonite are native to that region.
-
Hoenn by far, Emerald was my first game and Hoenn just has so much stuff to explore and such great variety between locations. I actually like Sinnoh, it had a lot of history and lore behind it and the Battle Zone (the big island) still stands as the greatest postgame of any Pokémon game (looking at you, X and Y, there's nothing to do after the credits roll.) Unova was also a lot of fun to explore, and N is the best antagonist of any Pokémon game yet.

Hoenn Master Region
-
The actual Pokémon? Johto. How the region feels? Hoenn.
-
Edited by Psy: 3/27/2014 4:30:48 AMHoenn is my favourite <.< When they finally release an RSE remake, I'll buy a 3DS.

Hoenn, it has the best music, environment, pokemon, art style, and sense of exploration. Runner up is Kanto, then Kalos. Jhoto is okay, it just happens to be featured in the titles with the best overall gameplay. Sinnoh sucks, absolutely sucks. Boring and that stupidass mountain. Unova is the absolute worst, at least in Black/White. Never touched B2/W2
-
Kanto is good. Johto is better. Hoenn is my favorite. Sinnoh I hardly remember. I didn't play Unova I didn't play Kalos as well
-
I kinda liked the French influence in Kalos. Johto's also cool.
-
Kanto for sure.
-
Edited by Halo: 3/27/2014 5:47:54 AMHoenn for the adventure-feels Johto for the mystery-feels
-
Sinnoh was amazing, it had the most history and story with the region.
-
Johto, easily.

Copying and pasting what I post in every thread where "when can I haz Gen 3" comes up.

I got what you meant, but it's still impossible, the reason why is because of what defines a remake. Say we remake a game from 1990 again, give it a whole new engine, graphics game-play, but it's still that beloved 1990 classic. It gets remade in 2008, and it's nearly a whole new game. It then comes out, a new generation of people enjoy it and maybe Veterans as well, and it's done. The game has been remade once and there is no point to doing it again. A remake is only a remake if it's done once and expands on the original. Remaking a remake is, for lack of a better description at this time for me, near pointless. You wouldn't spend thousands upon thousands upon a game or movie, remake it, then do it again in another ten years. The point of the remake was to leave a good taste in the audience's mouth that it is now perfect and untouchable. If they remake Gen 3 in this case, then what's to stop them from remaking Gens 4 and 5, possibly even 6 down the road? You do a remake if the first iteration failed, you shouldn't do a remake every few years just because you feel like it, that won't make money. And that's why you do it right the first or second time and finish. I don't think Gen 3 was a failure, I remember it because Ruby and Sapphire came out as I was in Elementary school exactly on my birthday, they were fun to me. But remaking again and again will not sell, and they hit that limit after the 2nd Gen when technology became great enough for them to do what they needed to. It isn't outdated or bad enough to warrant a remake, and if you want to play it again you can, and that's my thoughts on it.

Kanto was meh. Johto was good. Hoenn is my favorite. Sinnoh I hardly remember. Unova I like. Kalos is meh.
-
Johoto, Silver version
-
By itself? I'd like to go with Hoenn but I thought it was badass to combine Johto and Kanto in one game.
