I Suck
It became painfully obvious last night that my weapons and gear are not very good for PvE. I spend a lot of time in the Crucible in which my "stuff" works fairly well but it and I suck when playing anything else. With that said, what weaponry should I try to obtain for all three slots, primary, secondary, and heavy? Please, any info will help. Also, big thanks to a4montoya and ur_dead_2_me69 for holding my hand through the weekly night and daily last week and last night.

Another idea for someone who's good in PVP is to do the IRON BANNER it's open now. You can get armor that can level you up to 32 without doing the raids. You need armor that builds to level 36 light, legendary armor only builds to 33 light.. exotics and raid gear build to 36 light.

Choose the style you like for a primary weapon. Remember pulse rifles got a buff, so max out one (RED DEATH or a Coiled Hiss). any weapons that do arc, solar, void max out at least one of each for a special slot and heavy. My choice was the NITC (more accurate for headshots to complete bounty's), Murmur, plug 1, dragon's rockets, against all odds machine guns and any sniper.. in the beginning. The sniper rifle is crucial in a lot of situations.. Ice breaker is a MUST (you don't have to worry about ammo). The Red Death is awesome (returns health on Kills) purchased it this weekend and it's max'd out now. Eventually you need to get a tracking rockets.. gallhorn, hunger of crota these do a lot of damage and come in handy. Best advice do all the daily's to get the upgrade material. I ran 3 guards for this purpose. Earn lots of coins, purchase as many exotics and upgrade them, although it takes time.. I spend a lot of time developing weapons, but you have to work on armor as well, the only way to reach 32 is to get raid armor and upgrade material which has slowed down my progress. The enjoyment is playing with fun people and that I'm able to help others now.

4 RepliesThere was no hand holding, I believe you revived me a few times. The true hand holding will be on your part if you take me into the Crucible. I am truly awful at PVP but I have to get 10,000 points to complete my Bad Juju Bounty. Currently at 300 after one terrible Control game. I am no expert but you do have Truth Rockets (I think this is the second best launcher in the game), not sure what you have in your Special Slot (I love my Ice Breaker) and for Primary I like the Badger (Scout Rifle) I bought from Vanguard Vendor. Again these are what I like and I am sure there are better weapons I have not had the chance to play with.
