Disappointing Raid weekend.
Well my Raid week sucked. I beat Crota once all week! Once...I got 2 shards
NIGHTFALL I got shards and crappy legendary weapons....
Disappointed

1 ReplyIf you time it right you can actually take crota down with the sword and still do damage with the sword. I played with kross last night and ran the sword and crota fell after the second sword bearer

At least I was able to run a BamsGrill through the Weekly enough times that he could afford the Icebreaker. Lets see what happens this week!

7 RepliesI got crap in the nightfall too, just shards, not even any weapons. But, now that you are a sword pro you shouldn't have any problem finding a good group. I had fun on Saturday night taking down Crota with you. I think we needed all that practice, lol. It really helped my understanding of the timing required to be successful. [b]TIMING IS KEY[/b] Any time you need help with Crota let me know, in the meantime I'll be grinding glimmer for heavy ammo synth. I now have two characters I can run it with, so I should be ready after the reset. Although I am finding it difficult to get all the weekly stuff done with multiple characters...just not enough hours in the day.

3 RepliesEdited by deadnuts-: 1/19/2015 8:07:26 PMYou can apparently get three kneels per sword if your timing is perfect. Probably need at least one gjallarhorn, if not more, on the team. This video does a good job of showing the swordbearer's job, I think. The most useful little nugget was that the strong attack is faster if pressing forward on the stick. Timing is key for the entire group, not just the swordbearer. It really takes everyone doing everything right.

1 ReplyI concur. Bungie just had to go and mess with the Crota cheese. lol I still need boots and about 42 shards. Gonna be pretty tough if this last weekend is any indication of weekends to come.
