Well guys i might be limited on how much I play for about a week. Wife got pissed off at me for playing two hours every day so we got into it, don't know how long she will stay mad will try and sneak an hour when she falls asleep

Wife aggro is the worst. But deadnuts is totally right; balance is key. And I know we've all been there with our spouses. I just try to empathize a bit and make sure I'm not inadvertently making my wife feel like Destiny is more important.

This has happened to me in the past. My wife would get aggravated when I got addicted to a game and spent a lot of time with it. Honestly it's all about finding the right balance to keep your family happy...I think this group is built on the premise that we understand life will come up sometimes. I for one wouldn't hold it against you if you need to take some time to make the wife happy, I think most of us here will understand that. We'll still be here ready to take on a nightfall when you have some time.

Probably good to take some time - family should always come first. Speaking for myself, I have two young children, one of which is at the age where he parrots everything we say. Wife is dead set against me playing anytime he's around due to the gun aspect, which is 100% of the time he's awake. So my only playtime had always been after everyone else goes to bed. I've been running a major sleep deficit since Sep 9, but love the game, so it's worth it. I feel like you'll still be able to get some alien face shooting in.
