I just cancelled my Xbone preorder to preorder a PS4.
Yep, after Sony's show yesterday (and the mind-blowing demo of Destiny), it's painfully obvious which company actually cares about their users, and has gamers in mind above anything else. Yes, I hate the Playstation controllers, but I was reminded that there are always third-party controllers for Playstation that will model the Xbox design, so there's that problem solved. Sure, the Xbox has Halo, and they have cloud processing, but their press show, r@pe insults and all, didn't impress me half as much as Sony's. No DRM? No sharing limits? NO REGION LOCK!? It's like Sony has been... oh I don't know, ACTUALLY LISTENING to gamers over the past few months. It's this reason, along with the fact that the PS4 will be quite a bit more powerful than the Xbone and costs $100 less, that I will be jumping ship to a Playstation for the first time ever.
How about you? Don't get me wrong, I'll probably get an Xbone later down the road when the price drops, but I'm gonna be all over the PS4 on launch day!

OMG Destiny. Glad it's multi-platform and not exclusively next-gen. This means I can plays it while I saves up for a new console sometime (a long time) after they launch :-( I think PS4 is a bit more impressive for cost, and all the games that look the most impressive to me are for both PS4 and the X-bone, so there aren't any game-pulls for me yet. I'll probably end up getting an X-bone for the sole purpose of sticking with what those currently on my friends list will be playing. Not that I really mean to jump on band wagons here, but my current friends list is what keeps me playing video games, so I might as well stay on the MS side of things. Time will surely tell!
