Depleted Hand Gun help?

Is anyone willing to get together for some help boosting me through this? I am just terrible at crucible. I have been working at this for days and only have 72 points lol. All from killing my friends, but I clearly die too much to get very far even with my friends allowing me to shoot them. :-/ Definitely willing to do the same for anyone else.
