Help with headset
Hi everyone. I just bought a turtle beach P12 this past weekend, it seems to work fine and I can calibrate it to the PS and it shows while in game that I am talking. But I have played with some people and they cannot hear me. I was wondering if anyone else has this or a similar headset and can help. I will look up google today to see if there is a fix but if not I will just exchange it today before I get on.
Also if anyone will be on around 5-6ish EST that is when I'll get home. I wouldn't mind trying one last time to make it work before I take it back.

Issue seems to be fixed. I didn't really do anything to fix it though, whatever as long as it works.

2 RepliesI cant help you with the p12, although I can add that I'm using afterglow wired headset and it works great, no problems, on the other hand my Samsung mic doesn't work. This might be a dumb question but does the p12 you bought say it works with ps4? While I was shopping for head sets I notice a lot that were not compatible, or at least didn't have the ps4 logo. (the afterglow were only $20.)

I'm having similar issues with 2 friends of mine. We can't hear each other but we can all hear a fourth person just fine and that fourth person can hear us just fine as well. Ironically the ones that can't hear me live in the same city whereas the one who can lives in a different country. I'm starting to suspect it might be for not using the stock PS mic as one of is using Galaxy S4 line mic, one is using Logitech and one is using stock (I think).

1 ReplySorry I have nothing to add to help you here re the P12 - but I hate seeing a post go unanswered. If you have want to check if it is the headset as opposed to the game - you can always try and set a party chat with some folks and see if it works through that. Also, during calibration you should see the sound level monitor respond to your voice so you can check if the mic is working.
