What is Guardians of Legend...

Greetings Guardians! Guardians of Legend is a clan devoted to enhancing the Destiny experience for all of our members through community. If Deej said it once, he said it a million times: Destiny is better with friends. At the end of the day, all GoL exists for is to hang out and shoot the breeze (or the Fallen) with some buddies. With all that being said, we are accepting a lot of people into our group of buddies right now. After launch we will be reevaluating how the clan works with the members that are in it. I would hate to exclude anybody, but at the same time our goal IS to be a group of friends (even if we dont know each other...yet). Stay tuned for news :) [b][u]Guidelines[/u][/b] However, to create an environment where our clanmates can achieve that goal we have to set some guidelines to be a Guardian of Legend. These only exist to preserve what we originally started out to be - a bunch of friends having a great time in Destiny. If you don't (or are unable to) abide by these standards, it would be in your best interest to not apply. Bungie.net is full of clans for all styles and players. (If you are already a clan member and do not meet certain criteria, please inform me privately so we may work it out.) 1. [b]Absolutely no harassment or abuse (verbal or otherwise) of fellow clanmates.[/b] -That sort of mentality undermines all we attempt to achieve here. We are just here to have a good time and work together to become Legend! 2. [b]You must be 18 years of age or older.[/b] -This group is for mature adults. While being an adult doesn't necessarily make you a better gamer, the Guardians here are mature players who only desire to get as much enjoyment out of this game as they can. Please respect this decision we have made. The truth is that there is no way for us to confirm your age, so we are trusting that you are honest in your intentions. 3. While out in the wild, sporting the Guardians of Legend tag or name on your emblem, you are representing this clan. Please game with maturity and respect for other players. 4. [b]No inappropriate links, pics, videos, etc posted here or any official 3rd party Guardians of Legend community. (Ie, Facebook)[/b] I understand that we are all adults, but mutual respect and maturity come with adulthood. Please adhere to this standard :) Like I said before, we want Guardians of Legend to be a place for mature gamers to come and find a home for their guardian. We believe that these standards will help all of us achieve that goal. [b][u]Events[/u][/b] Clan events will be scheduled via our[url=https://www.facebook.com/groups/GuardiansofL/] Facebook group[/url] and then mentioned in the Group Wall. [b][u]Gamer IDs[/u][/b] If you haven't already, please message me your real name as well as your time zone, Gamertag/ID, and systems you intend to play on. As fare as playing with the leaders of GoL, we will keep our fire teams open (for the most part). So feel free to hope into one of our fire teams and shoot some bad guys!
