Destiny Weapons
I've been hearing a lot about the huge number of unique weapons featured in Destiny through their procedural generation weapons system. I personally am a huge fan of Borderlands and the the weapons system incorporated in it, so I am extremely excited about the amount of possibilities for awesome weapons. I love the thrill of finding a new weapon I've never seen before and comparing with my friends. But what are some of your thoughts? And what are some of your favorite weapons? Personally I'm a mid range guy, in halo I almost always sport a DMR, but I get equal satisfaction from taking off my enemies head from two miles out with a sniper rifle. So what about you? With the release of destiny, are you going to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies with death from afar? Or cause confusion and chaos with a barrage of machine gun fire? Only time will tell, how will your destiny unfold?

Hand cannon is the best for me, besides a sniper. So i voted sniper even though my true choice is handcannon.

1 ReplyTo be honest I don't know what I'll use until I've played for a bit. Each shooter game I've play I've used a different play style that suits me. A.I. Will have a massive factor on my choice as will the typical terrain I'll face. So as usual it will take me a couple of weeks to find what works for me. The same goes for class. I like the idea of the warlock and hunter but will have to see once I've tried all the classes.

I tryed pointing this out in the mail sack, but there has to be more then just two types of heave weapons in destiny. I think a heave plasma weapon should be in there, along with heavy melee weapons.

1 ReplyStill torn between titan and hunter, so heavy machine gun vs. sniper. I'll be most excited about sniper rifles depending on stealth functionality of the hunter or HMG depending on durability of the titan. Picking sniper though since I'm really hoping for active stealth.

1 ReplyI've always enjoyed being a spotter and supporting my team from yards away. If you put a 15 round rifle (or should I say controller) with a 10x scope on it in my hands and find me some nice cover, you won't have to worry about watching your back or worry about losing our held objective. I think I've got it covered. But on the other hand, change that rifle (controller) to a 30 round automatic assault rifle and send me in gung ho, I'll take out as many baddies as I possibly can or go down fighting. So, I kind of enjoy the range of options we have

As an Exo Titan ill chose an LMG, a pump action shotgun, and a rocket launcher.

1 ReplyEdited by killjoy760: 7/11/2013 8:52:27 PMMy plans are to be an Exo Warlock with a shotgun, burst fire assault rifle, and a sniper rifle. I will use the sniper to scout out the area and come up with a general battle plan, then I will use the first clip of the sniper to pick off a few of the weaker enemies so that the area would be safer to raid. After this, I would proceed to move forward and damage some of the enemies with my assault rifle, hopefully taking out quite a few of them by aiming for headshots, and as I proceed across the battlefield I will charge ahead with my shotgun out, killing each individual enemy as if I had a personal grudge against it, and then finally when I reach the stronger enemies deep in the battlefield, it would be time to perform some evasive strategies and blast them away with the shells of my shotgun and bursts of deadly magic emanating from my hand. That is how I will play Destiny.
