I plan on buying an Xbox One to play Destiny. Anyone else?

Xbox One sucks balls. Money$oft is just milling everything they own now and putting up shitty policies everywhere. They lie and cheat and don't care about their consumers. Sony actually cares and I hold them dear to my heart. PS4 ROCKS XBONE SUCKS

Xbox one. I know people get all attackish when mentioning it but Microsoft tried something new, what is ps4 offering that ps3 isn't? You can share videos great, nothing special. There were benefits to DRM (downsides as well) but they tried something new and I respect that. Ps4 slogan was "look we didn't do anything different" and I'm not a fan of that mentality.

Stop rubbing it in Sony's face that they have better business practices and more powerful hardware with a better track record for reliability. It's just mean to keep reminding Sony that they blew the competition out of the water. You can only be told that you're awesome so many times before it gets annoying! Last generation was the red ring jokes, this generation will be the "actually bought an XBone" jokes.

4 RepliesGetting a Playstation 4. Nothing against their current gen hardware (the Xbox 360 was in fact my first console from this gen), but just about everything Microsoft's said about the Xbox One has made me extremely nervous about giving them my money. Between the DRM and some things they've patented for the Kinect sensor, it's clear that they assume their entire user base is trying to pirate from them or otherwise try and screw Microsoft out of [b][i]their[/i][/b] money. Why reward that by paying them? I might still pick up an Xbox One after a few price drops, depending on what I've heard about the system by then, but the PS4 is still my first choice for a game system this generation. Not that any of the systems jump out to me as something I absolutely HAVE TO HAVE THIS INSTANT, but of the three options, PS4 seems like the best.

i am getting a ps4, i find no reason not to while at the same time am incited with many positives, while at the same time however i see many negatives of the Xbone while seeing few positives, most of which dont interest me as a gamer and a connoisseur of technology
