It shares the characteristic high impact that is countered by a lower rate of fire and increased recoil compared to other Auto Rifle series'. Thankfully, the Regime is designed to counter the counters. The Linear Compensator boost the gun's impact and range, but if you'd rather control the recoil the final upgrade in the first column - Smart Drift Control - maxes out its Stability stat, making headshots much easier to maintain with sustained fire. The Focused Fire upgrade lowers the rate of fire even further while increasing damage output per bullet, pushing it's optimum range firmly into the mid-range and making it even easier to control the gun's recoil. The Regime's namesake trait is the icing on the cake, giving it both the Glass Half Full trait and a chance to award health to it's wielder while dealing damage. It also has Hammer Forged, but you'll have to pass up High Caliber Rounds and Lightweight (worth it). There is a downside to the Regime: after unlocking Focused Fire instantly makes aiming down sight worthless at close range, the lowered fire rate makes it harder to properly deal with quick enemies that are right on top of you, so you'll have to resort to hip fire with anything within about 5ft/1.5m. [b]Warning:[/b] You'll get nasty messages from opponents in the Crucible. [b]Final Word[/b] Remember when Bungie nerfed Auto rifles? Suros Regime doesn't. It just knows how to kill, no matter where its Guardian takes it.
