It's been awhile since I posted 24 but ah well, anyway here's number twenty five. Comments are appreciated, even if it's just to say the links failed.
“Is that really necessary?”
“Only if I don’t want to mangle her innards.”
“Um, could you explain?” I asked, concerned for my health.
“Warlocks don’t just snap their fingers and make stuff happen; we need to understand what it is we want to do. If you were like Aaron I’d have fixed you up already, but because type Zeros all have different chassis configurations I can’t be sure what’s where in you.”
“You think her lung and spine somehow moved?”
“Do you harass every Warlock like this?” Alicia huffed.
Dread thought to himself for a moment before answering, “Pretty much.”
The plot thickens. Who is this man that knows Nora seemingly so well? The Cabal's "alliance" in this chapter leaves me curious about their cooperative beginnings and goals. Excellent chapter. The suspense, and the tension especially, is rising.

Edited by Eterteeter: 5/21/2014 12:30:25 AMI would go on by saying how intriguing this mysterious bow tie boss is, but what caught me off guard as I saw this in my head was when Aaron split the incoming rock with just a shoulder. Such power packed into one silent man. My brain continues to races as I try to figure who Mr. Bowtie is. Great read.
