Parker Slaide of the Atlantis Colony PT. 3

The Last City was so much better than I imagined. Everything was so clean, the buildings were shining, and the streets were full of shops and people. They all had clean, silky clothes on. "Go on then!" Said Gerald. "Gerald, will you come with me and show me the way?" He removed his helmet. Gerald had one of those baby-faces, and ginger hair. He was most definitely quite the character. "Well sure!" He said, with this his baby-face lit up with delight. Let me take off my armor, it's really hot today, otherwise i wouldn't. When he removed his armor, his baby-like qualities disappeared, his muscles looked as though the skin was about burst due to them being so large, i mean, he must train all the time. He put on a looser shirt, but it had a hard plastic padding on it. I walked beside him into the Last City. "You looked up yet?" He asked, i did so, and saw what they call the Traveler. It was amazing, it was really just a big sphere, but it was still quite magnificent. "You get the ability to teleport from it!" I looked up again, "really?" "Yep! Hey Parker, considering your ability isn't really teleporting, it's much more than that, you should give it a different name, like Zapping or Blinking!" I thought about it, "Shifting?" I considered. "I like it, but it's your ability," i shook my head, telling him I'd stick with it. I was walking down the street when i saw a girl, about my age, behind a shop desk, she had white hair, electric blue eyes, and white skin, just like Gianna. "Why is her skin white?" Gerald looked up and saw the girl, "Oh, you haven't seen an Awoken before, have you?" "I have, but..." Gerald frowned, "Oh, sorry to bring it up," this made me remember my Shifting blade. I pulled out my Caballen dagger, "everything has a name but you, O dub the "What the Shift!," Whashi for short!" With Washi, this reminded me of something, "why'd you say the name Caballen was clever?" I asked Gerald "Well, you know of the Fallen already, but it's the Fallen and the Cabal interbred," i continued to glance at the Awoken girl, but asked, "what's a Cabal?" He grimaced a little, "they are big gray beasts, they want to kill all humans and Vex, one ripped Benthis' vocal chord from his neck, it was a rough day, one of our first missions!" I kept looking at the Awoken, "JUST GO TALK TO HER!" Exclaimed Gerald and he pushed me over to the shop. I looked at Gerald with uncertainty, but i walked to her anyway. "Hi how can i help you?" I looked around, realizing I had no idea what the store contained. All over the shop were robots of all kinds. "Um..." She butted in "if you don't like these, you can custom make one!" I looked over at Gerald, who threw me a glowing yellow card. On it said "Glimmer Visa" i replied i'd like to custom make one!" She gave me a tablet with a program for designing the bot, i sat on a plush chair and created "D3RP Mark I" it was basically a small centipede that could wrap around my wrist like a watch, and if it bit someone, they would be shocked with electricity. The girl went to the back and I waited for about thirty minutes, Gerald had come in and sat beside me. Out came a small metal worm, though the diagram looked menacing, it was pretty cute it jumped on my lap, so i pet it. It's pincers sent a zap between them, i took that as his sign of pleasure. I gave her the card, and paid, i was about to walk out, with D3RP on my wrist, but i looked at her and asked, "what's your name?" She blushed a little, reminding me so much of Gianna, "I'm Bliz Audie, what's your name?" she reached out her small white hand, i took it and smiled "i'm Parker, Parker Slaide!"
