All Rain saw was darkness, he exhaled and his warm breath came back at him. "Must be in my helmet" he thought. "Hello?" a blinking light appeared in the center of Rain's helmet. it exploded into a bright light that took Rain's eyes a second to adjust too.
[REBOOT ACTIVATED]
A large message came on screen, followed by complex algorithms, and other numbers and letters. Rain then saw that he was in a white hospital room, and he was also in a bed. His Armor was burnt, torn and blackend. He reached for his hood behind him, but all he felt was metal encasing his head. "The hell?" Rain sat up in the bed, he looked down at his arms. they seemed fine, but then Rain heard a something rotating in his right arm. He ripped off the hanging pieces of armor and "WHAT THE HELL?!" his right arm was now a cold, black and orange replica of his old arm. Rain threw his legs over the bed and took his helmet off his head. spinning it around to look in the visor, Rain saw he-thankfully- wasn't an Exo. However, his right eye was glowing blue, and had small spikes going into his artifical pupil. Infuriated at his transformation, Rain threw his helmet on the ground, screaming in the process. Rain then, holding his face in anger, continued to scream. Ayra then burst in the room, "Rain! you're awake!" Rain pulled his hands off his face and looked at his friend, she had a mixture of worries, and surprisement on her face. "Ayra, what happened?!" he yelled at her. She adjusted her posture, and said "Well, a surviving Vex shot a rocket at you, and it almost killed you. thankfully, I put a force shield in front of you, but unfortunatly, it still hit you." Rain stared at Ayra, she continued to speak. "Your right arm and eye were in disrepair, but Vahlon knew somebody, he called the doctor-who had schooling in surgery and cybernetic implants-. he operated on you and you've been out for a few days." Rain felt his anger flush from his face. "Thank you, thank you so much, but, what happened to the guardians here?" Ayra shrugged. "Wait, so they left us here? they're gone?"
New thoughts entered Rain's mind, "Those bastards need to pay for leaving me AND my team for dead!" Rain walked over to his helmet and put it on, and turned to face Ayra. "Ayra, get Vahlon, were hunting down those sick little bastards!" Rain started to walk out of the room but, Ayra put her hand on Rain's chest and stopped him. "What are you doing Rain? those 'bastards', are other guardians!" This time, Rain shot HER the cold stare. "Are they Ayra? are those people that left us for pretty much CERTAIN DEATH still even CONSIDERED people!?" Ayra took a step back, "WE are going to hunt them down and do to them what they did us!" Ayra's body calmed down. and she said; "Ok, ok… let's go then." Rain smiled behind his helmet and patted her on the shoulder, "That'a Girl!" Rain walked past her and into the bright hallway. He immedatly noticed Vahlon sitting on a bench outside his room. He looked up and saw Rain, "Rain! you're okay right?" Rain shook his head, "No, i'm not okay, we're going to go kill the guardians that left us for dead." Vahlon face turned from shock to confusion. "Wait what?! Why?" Rain took a step towards Vahlon. "Because, those sick bastards left us FOR DEAD! They're other guardians right? then why didn't they help me when I took a FUC*ING ROCKET IN THE FACE!" Vahlon took a step back and raised his arms slowly. "So," Rain pulled out his revolver from the holster on his left thigh, and pointed it at Vahlon. "Are you against me?" Rain spun the handgun around so the grip was facing Vahlon. "...or with me?" Vahlon collected his thoughts then, he took a deep breath and said; "With you." Rain re-holstered his firearm. "But, I don't understand." Rain turned his head back to Vahlon. "What don't you understand my friend?" Vahlon looked over Rain's shoulder at Ayra. She was-oddly enough-smilling. "Well," Vahlon responded, "It's just that, one day you're loyal to the city's protection, Then you almost get killed by our ENEIMY. and then you start breaking bad? I don't get it." Rain started walking towards the front door. "You don't have to get it, it's revenge, simple as that." Vahlon didn't like it, something was up.
Rain's armor had been torn up in the ensuing flame, and shrapnel from the explosion. His hood and cape were gone. his Armor was broken, and his weapon's were missing. Ayra ran up to Rain, making small splash's in the mud, with her large brown combat boots. "So, what are we doing first?" Rain looked at the motion tracker on the top right corner of his helmet; two dots, Ayra and Vahlon. then he switched his attention to his female friend's question. "We're going back to the tower."

I'm interested to see how far Ayra and Vahlon are willing to go for their friend. Keep it coming!
