Everything Burns: Prologue

The pike Steadily floated along the Moon's surface, Attempting to reach it's Objective. After a few minutes, the engine cut and it's driver stepped down. "Yeah yeah Enclave, Just shut it. I'm in the right place correct?" The Pike's Driver Was a mysterious Guardian Named Rain, Most living things stayed away from him, wether out of Fear or respect, he didn't care. "Yes, you should be in the last place he was scene." The voice in Rain's helmet replied. "Thanks, i'll let you know if the situation changes." Rain Pulled out his Pulse Rifle "Lightning", Flipped it on and Started walking. After a Few Minutes, Rain came upon a burning building. It was Short and stocky, yet it was three stories tall. Rain was Here because of a Certain Fallen Commander that was causing him, and the rest of the Guardian's, A bit too much trouble. It called itself: "Tinderbox" An odd name everyone knew, But that didn't change the Fact it was downright Terrifying. It Decapitated Any, and all who opposed it. and Hung it's "Trophy's", in this burning building. This place is also the last area someone saw it, And all The Guardians voted to Send Rain. He figured That they just didn't want him Around, but in reality; the Guardians thought Rain was their best bet to deal with this problem. Rain was right in front The supposed "Entrance", A Smoldering Ruin of Debris, and Other Wreckage, Constructed in an Upside down 'V' shape. "Enclave, i'm Right in Front of The Entrance". Rain Said in his deep, but slightly Nervous Voice. "Alright, Be Careful, You know how this thing is. Traveler Protect you." The voice Replied once again. "Alright, 'Tinderbox', Let's Dance." Rain Walked inside Tinderbox's Lair, and started to look Around. All he saw was more Wreckage, and A few Barely intact weapons, lining the Bleak black wall. Then Rain Heard a Chilling and Disturbing voice, "Why, Who might this be?" Rain spun 180' And Held his Rifle up in front of him. "Come out, Come out wherever you are..." Rain responded to the Ghostly voice. Spying his motion Tracker, Rain was confused. ''Where could he be?" he thought to himself. "Right behind you" Rain felt a Jab of pain in his back as he spun Around to counter the Attack, Rain Flash-steeped behind himself, and Fired a burst straight into the monster's face. "MOTHER FFFF.... Ahh!" Rain Had been Stabbed by The Beast's Blade. "You'll pay for that!" Rain Reached for A seeker Grenade on his belt, He found it. He pulled up a Black and Grey Sphere with a Red button at the center. He pressed it and chucked it into The Hall, it Levitated And Flew towards a Heap of Wreckage. As soon as it made contact it Released It's Explosive Package and Made a Huge cloud of smoke, along with a loud bang. Rain Then Dived under A blanket of Debris to hide while he recovered. Several Minutes went by... Scilence. Rain Didn't like it. 10 Minutes Nothing. Eventually, Rain Slowly crawled inches away from the moon's soil, to Leave his Smoldering Fortress. "Enclave!" Rain Yelled into His COM. "What! What is it!" Enclave responded Anxiously. "I've been badly wounded!, I need Medical Extra-" A cold, Robotic, Alien Hand Quickly Wrapped itself Around Rain's Neck and Lifted him in the Air. Tinderbox's 4 disturbing Red Eye's met Rain's and Stared into his soul. Rain could Barely make out The Traveler Floating over the Last Safe haven in The Solar System, as A Terrified Voice continued to Scream His Name. "RAIN! RAIN!" "Traveler protect me" Rain barely chocked out, But, The last thing he Heard Before The Fallen's Blade Was Thrusted Towards Him Was: "Everything Burns" Thanks for Reading Everyone!
