However, when they tried to pull up any info about this Guardian they got an error message saying Restricted: you don't want to know. Mystic and Knight both shrugged and went to the Armory. They both got their usual armor. Knight got his Exo Silver armor with green streaks. Mystic got his pure white armor. Knight selected the first weapon he got when he signed up, an automatic rifle called Default. Knight picked an SMG as his special. He had his spiked gloves on his hands at all times, so he was ready to go. Mystic also selected the first weapon he got when he signed up, a Pulse Rifle named Burst. Mystic picked a handgun as his special. He picked his favorite rockets, 'Blam!'. At the same time across the city she went to her armory. She selected her favorite rifle. The only weapon Dad ever made for her. A Scout Rifle called Don't Miss. This rifle was jet black like most things in her life. It was called Don't Miss because every time she shot it when she was at target practice her Dad would always say, "Don't miss." She checked her watch 0715. She got onboard a ship headed to The Canyon. Mystic and Knight also got on board a ship headed to The Canyon. They got on the ship 5 minutes late because Knight wanted to check his weapons and gear to make sure they worked properly. The ship took off torwards The Canyon. They arrived there 5 minutes later. Mystic and Knight looked for the other Guardian. They couldn't find a single sign another Guardian was here, not even footprints. They entered the Canyon and Mystic pulled out his Ghost 'G14' so he could get a sitrep of enemies in the vicinity. When Knight didn't pull out his Ghost Mystic asked him why. Knight said, "My Ghost was KIA. He was killed in my fight with the Fallen Commander you helped me defeat." Mystic's Ghost came back and said that 5 Dregs and 3 Vandals were ahead. Mystic then put his ghost away. Mystic and Knight entered The Canyon. They immediately saw a Dreg hidden behind the rocks on the far right and left of them. These Dregs were killed with quick bursts from their guns. Cliffs and ridges were everywhere, this would be a sniper's paradise thought both Knight and Mystic. A Vandal hidden behind foliage on cliff above them on their right side took aim at Knight's helmet and fired. The bullet would hit Knight before he even heard it. 5 seconds before impact another bullet collided with it. Knight and Mystic hid behind a rock in front of them and looked for the sniper that almost killed Knight. They heard a bang and found the Vandal decapitated on the cliff to their right side. Dregs started pushing torwards them and Mystic quick ended each of them with 1 burst. Knight ran forward and found the last Dreg hiding behind bushes to his left. They heard another bang and couldn't find the last Vandal in this area. She kept her down and stayed hidden behind the blackened husk of what was once an Oak Tree. No Fallen would ever find her here. She was on top of The Canyon and could walk along the edge of The Canyon and help those two other Guardians. They were both pushing forward, so she pushed forward with them. Mystic turned the corner and saw what he believed to be a Fallen Major staring him down with the end of his Shotgun. Mystic cast a Nova Bomb at the Major and killed him 1 second before a Sniper's bullet went past where he was. Mystic went back around the corner and talked to Knight. "A Fallen Major with a shotgun was around this corner I turned the corner and he almost decapitated me with his shotty. I cast a Nova Bomb killing him. The sniper's bullet would have saved me though." "Wow I need to stay at the front." They heard two sniper shots in quick succession then. They turned the corner and saw two Sergeant class Vandals with purple armor in the distance. They moved forward to the rock in front of them and a sniper's bullet trailed them. They couldn't find the sniper. A moment later she decapitated the sniper with brown armor laying on the brown rock. Mystic and Knight advanced forward 30 meters and saw two valleys ahead of them one to the right, one to the left. She saw the two valleys in front of those two Guardians are got her Katana out. She chopped down the dead tree she had used previously as a vantage point. She put the tree on the edge of The Canyon and used it as a bridge, that way she could get in between to the top of the cliff in between the two valleys. Knight took the valley to the left, Mystic took the one two the right. She smiled this appeared to be near the middle of The Canyon. She saw 1 Vandal, 6 Dregs, and 1 Captain on each valley to the left. She put a sniper shot in each Captain, now they just needed a few bullets to their helmets and they would go down. A Vandal had his sights on her. He got hit in the face by a Pulse Rifle shot. She took this opportunity to dome that Vandal. She watched the Exo Titan take down 4 Dregs on his side. He then put a few shots in the Captain, mopping him up. She shifted her attention to the Human Warlock, he was holding his own. He had killed the Captain and 4 Dregs. She killed his last two Dregs with her Scout Rifle. Knight killed the Vandal and the last 2 Dregs. He then looked forward and saw that the two valleys converged not long before becoming a huge cave. He gave Mystic a sitrep. She saw the two valleys converge and form a cave up ahead. Now she had to decide if she wanted to collect her loot and leave, or descend and continue this mission. If she descended she might have to talk to these Guardians. She resented talking to anyone besides Roscoe and her Dad. After her Dad died she dropped her fireteam and went Rogue. She decided that she would take a risk and descend to help the Exo Titan and Human Warlock. She dropped straight down from her position above the converge. She was falling, falling, falling and before she went splat she clicked her boots together and the hover ability in them activated. She took these boots from a Warlock who would have no need for them anymore. She hid behind the blackened remains of a tree stump and tried to blend in. A Ghost came zipping around the corner and said, "I see you there sniper. Join with us." She was so startled she toppled over. As got up she said, "I will join with you, but do not expect this to become permanent. I am Rogue. I rarely accept help." The Ghost replied, "You may rarely accept help, yet you are not reluctant to offer help. I am sure your time with us will be great though." Mystic and Knight soon rejoined G14 and a Hunter coated in black. Knight asked, "Are you the one who saved my life back there?" "Don't make a big deal out of it. I am sure you would have done the same for me." She informed them that this was just a temporary allegiance, because she was a lone wolf. G14 went in Mystic's pack again. The three Guardians entered the cave. It was as dark as her armor when they walked in. They activated their heat vision. They saw 8 Dregs, 4 Vandals, 1 Major, and 1 Colonel, and a silver Dreg with 6 arms that must have been a Brigadier. Knight rushed forward and flanked. She and Mystic went up a cliff to there right and started putting shots on the Brigadier. The Brigadier had a sniper rifle. He aimed it at her face and got a shot off. Mystic saw her collapse and blood flow from her wound. He got behind her and pulled her out of sight. He then began to revive her. Slowly but surely the light in her visor started to return. Meanwhile Knight was taking out the Dregs in front. These foolish Dregs kept rushing him. He killed every Dreg then he heard a sniper shot. He rolled to the right and a bullet wizzed by his feet. He opened up the comm channel and asked Mystic why snipers were shooting at him. "I am busy saving the sniper's life. If you hide the snipers will not bother you." Knight hid behind the nearest rock. Mystic saw all of the color return to the sniper's face after a few minutes. He then took out all of the Vandals with his Pulse Rifle. She got out her revolver Thorn and activated her Golden Gun ability. She crawled up to the edge of the cliff and fired two shots in succession. She repeated thus process twice. The area was clear. They went and got their loot. Knight got a shotgun named Carnage and an automatic rifle named Eat this. Mystic got an LMG named 'Are You Hungry?' and a Pulse Rifle named Trifecta. The Sniper was pleased with her loot. She got a Chameleon suit of armor that was black when not in combat, yet it would automatically match the colors of the objects in your area when in combat. She also got a new revolver The Last Word. She gave this revolver to Mystic, because he revived her instead of taking her weapons and leaving her their to die. No one had ever needed to revive her before. Mystic asked her what her name was and she said, "Ghost." He said, "I am Mystic, my friend here is Knight." They all agreed to meet up in the Market District tomorrow at 0900. She would introduce them to Roscoe. Knight said, "I guess we are a team now. What will we call our fireteam?" Ghost said, "The Godsquad."
