PSN and Gamertag name changes
A friend of mine posed the question and I was curious; in the event someone changes their PSN or Gamertag, are they assigned a new membershipId?
He asks in the interest of maintaining his previous years' stats on various sites. :)

Well, you can't change your name on psn, and I don't know anything about xbox, so I can't answer your question.
