I've been putting together ideas for a sci-fi graphic novel for a while now, and while I may not start actual work on it until I feel more confident in my skills, I put together this drawing of one of the main characters to see what my pencil sketches would look like with pen and GIMP. It's a bit rough, and I forgot the plates that're supposed to go over his legs, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it came out. It's amazing how much good a little shadow does.
So, what do y'all think? Feedback, comments, misplaced hatred? I'll take whatever you wish to give.

Good picture, but, you may need to edit/modify the armour a little more. you will [b][i]definitely[/i][/b] need to change [url=http://images.gameskinny.com/gameskinny/04da3d8f4794a8df39f990c4c0ce514e.jpg]that helmet[/url] if you plan on selling your work. not trying to be mean, I'm just trying to help out.
