Wanted to thanks some of you (Gav, Jager,) for attempting to down Skolas with me. Today is my last chance seeing as I have no clue what the reset will bring. Thus I now ask on my knees, anyone that have the time, please help me. I know it can be done and the time spent is a bit extreme but if your available from 6 on I could really use you. No pressure, just want to get this out of the way. Thanks for your patience.

Put me down as that is all I need for year one completion but could do with running with others who know what there doing

Have any of you actually tried this method? http://youtu.be/dCpGrTL8hMU

All I know with hard Poe is that you need to put some hours aside to really give it a good shot! Earlier rounds you can get through quite easily, it's the end boss that takes the piss! You really have to persevere and not give up. At present I only run with a warlock, but having a character from each class really helps!

I need to smack up skolas too! Saturday evening will be best for me! Would appreciate the help!

I want to give it a go sometime

Myself, Immo and gadz did it last night and it went really smooth. We had 2xTitans and a Warlock. I wouldn't like to try it with a Hunter. We did the usual go to the left and when Skolas came near, we rotated to the other side of the map. Cleared ads, Skolas comes near, rotate. Rinse and repeat. Also if we had too many ads we would rotate as it was light switch and it was a one hit kill from captains. Make sure you always move as a team, especially during the "poisoning" part.

I'm in the same boat. As Gavin, I've made a run at him earlier where we got him to about 10 % before we slipped up. One other big key is also to go at him when the burns are favourable. Our experience is that Lightswitch makes him alot harder as the melee capitains will one-hit kill you. Unexperienced teams should probably wait for weeks without lightswitch.

Welcome back fella, we can use the PoE Party People thread if people may be up for it on a Wednesday eve, get people in who have completed it and build teams around them. We've got 2 months to get everyone through, I like a challenge
-
that shits hard, spent a few hours on it last night and got him to about 10% and wiped. we found the easiest way was with 2 warlocks and a titan, hunters where just too squishy, basically start left then keep rotating when things get close pick off ads then hit skolas, rinse and repeat but you must stick together.

Same situation here, anytime i'm on, just shout

Likewise Atlas, I need to tackle Skolas as it is the last thing I need to complete the triumphs. I am assuming there will be an organised evening of PoE 35 as a lot of Dads will be in the same boat.. I am available every day next week to try and defeat Skolas!

I haven't even attempted Skolos yet but really want to get that scalp. I have been told that having the right weapon is key. Has anyone completed it without 3 Gjallahorns in the team?

I'm in the same boat too, so hopefully we can get a "help a brother out" like activity going, two experienced and a 'learner'.
