Thorn Bounty
Does anybody have Thorn, and is it worth going through the PvP bounty in order to get it?
Here is the deal. I'm a pretty sucky PvP player. Since 9/9 I have been in the crucible for 1 hour and 1 minute (0.33 K/D). From what I understand with the bounty is that I need to kill other guardians with a void weapon. I get 5 points for a kill and -2 points for every time I die.... So, doing the math, I need higher than a 0.4 K/D ratio in order make any headway on the bounty. Better K/D gets me there faster, lower K/D has me grinding, and 0.4 K/D ratio or lower (where I currently am), I just better not even try.
If Thorn is a worthwhile weapon, I would spend the time in the crucible trying to better my PvP skills to eventually get it. Otherwise, I'll stick with heroic missions, strange coins and Xur.

I have thorn and I love it. It's gotten a lot of bad rep, but as of right now it's one of the most recognizable guns in the game. Green to black tracers firing from it and the DOT effect are amazing. It helps out a lot with enemies that have shields. The dot stops their shield from regenerating when they hide. So most the time they will come back out and have no shield which helps. It also fires spikes when you get the DOT upgrade which I find is amazing.
