Hard does give you better chances at gear because of the double rewards if it's your first raid of the week on that character. Gives you a higher chance than running each raid separate because you'd have to be pretty unlucky to get both shards and energy off one boss. Again, still just a theory but hard might be beneficial to run first on at least one character.

Yup honestly no point in running it again unless you have an alt or just want to helps some bros out
