Thoughts on obtaining exotic bounties
So this is COMPLETELY speculation bit I thought I'd pass along for others to try out...
So far I gotten 3 exotic bounties from the bounty-bot in the tower.... And though I believe it's still somewhat random, all three were given while I was at either Lvl 10 or 15 with the cryptarch... I got two, one day apart, while at lvl10 and the third yesterday while at lvl15...
I had seen other forums speculate that exotic bounties were related to the cryptarch somehow and it APPEARS that having his level at a multiple of 5 will at least drastically increase the odds of getting the bounties...
So get cryptarch to the appropriate level (10, 15, 20, etc.) and just start cranking out bounties to see if you get any results....
Anyone else able to try this out and provide their experiences?

Edited by SSJ Tapunks: 10/21/2014 6:39:03 PMEvery one of my exotic bounties came at prime numbers of Cryptarch levels. 7, 13, 17, 23, 29, 31, and 37. I doubt he has anything to do with bounties. But isn't that what superstition is all about?

Just received my fourth exotic bounty this AM... Cryptarch is at lvl 20... Just another data point... The trend continues..

I did get an exotic bounty for my second Invective last night. I am at cryptarch level 30. Hmmm...

I have had five exotic bounties. I know at least four of them did not come when my cryptarch level was an interval of 5. Most came to me when I turned in multiple bounties. I have completed the bounties for Super Good Advice, Bad Juju, and Invective. I am working on Pocket Infinity and Thorn. I will finish up pocket infinity on this nightfall.

4 RepliesEdited by v Noxx v: 10/9/2014 7:39:42 PMSome time ago I saw where it was speculated that you would get an exotic bounty if you complete 5 strikes without a death..not consecutive, but just 5 without a death, total. Not sure there is any weight to it, but that was the prevailing theory a few weeks ago.
