Bladedancer!!
So I finally hit level 15!!! I'm super excited to use the Bladedancer subclass, but I want your guys and gals opinions. Tell me, which is better(Gunslinger or Bladedancer), and tell me why. I'd love to hear your opinions!

1 ReplyI have been playing as a Bladedancer since I hit 15 as well and I am pretty much maxed out, just keep in mind it is a high-risk, high-reward type of game style. If you're not good with high-traffic and faced paced melee attacks this class isn't for you, all of the skill sets are melee and escape based. Activate your super, do as much damage as possible to as many people as possible, and get the -blam!- out of the range of fire. Very effective to clearing large hoardes of enemies in PvE, though in PvP, keep in mind Titian Defenders can survive your super even when maxed out. Be observant, pick your battles wisely and most importantly know your limits, arc blade is one of the strongest moves in the game. For now, focus on getting to level 20, and buy yourself some purple armor or blues with +light, you need all the defense you can get for this move.

gunslinger is good if your the cautious type and prefer to hit enemies far but only 3 rounds unless you use a perk bladedancer is perfect for close quarters and you want to clear a room instantly but must watch your health or if any other has supers cuz still can get hit by titan or warlock aoe, what many people ive noticed dont utilize is the bladedancer can quickly get you into cover by using the strike attack to do a quick lunge away from fire

1 ReplyEdited by Kurrinos: 9/15/2014 11:11:53 PMOK, don't expect a Bladedancer to be a whirling beat of melee death. That only happens when your super is going. At all other times you will be using your gun of choice. The 1st item to dispel is that Bladedancers do not have a massive advantage in close combat. Your blade "will not" 1 shot people if you stab them in the face, but the enemy who has a shotgun "will" 1 shot you at that range. Sooooo if you want to use your blades as your primary source of damage, I am afraid you will be in for a bit of a let down. You will get into the mode of, shoot while closing the gap, knife them in the face, strafe, finish them off with a 2nd stab, at the same time you will be hoping that they will not 1 shot you. Which, I am sorry to say, is exactly the same as all other classes. No matter how well you gear, or how you spec, you knife will do exactly the same damage, where as people can and will slowly be getting better and bigger guns, while you blade is totally stuck at the same lvl. Oh and stay away from Titans.... Seriously, stay away from them.... never go near them... you will never win 1 on 1 against them.

They both are good but I love the golden gun and how it explodes with one ability. As for blade dancer it has some crazy close range skills and a lot of abilities that make you go invisible. I'd just try both.
