Light levels are important

Hey guys, In light of our conversation last night regarding light levels versus gear perks, I found this to be super helpful. This guy actually tested out the effects of light levels in combat, and it turns out that you DO take more damage and DO deal less damage to enemies that are a higher level from you. What that means is that if you are level 22 and you're battling level 24s, it might be cool that you have more pulse rifle reserve ammo and a slightly quicker grenade regen time, but you're going to be way more susceptible to damage and your guns and grenades are going to be less effective. That's why I said it might be prevalent to choose gear with a higher light value over gear with preferable perks. If a single piece of gear means the difference between two levels, it might actually be better to opt for the gear that gives you that one extra level. Let me know what you think!
