What are your thoughts on the new direction 343 is taking for sounds and music? Anyone feel emotionally attached to Martin O'donnell and Michael Salvatori's original sound for the Halo scores, or do you think Neil Davidge seemed to fit better with the Halo universe?
Do you miss the old sound fx or are you stoked for the new? Feel free to share your thoughts!
I know Halo is no longer Bungies "thing", but it is, and always will be there baby, and I believe they will always have a heart for the Halo franchise.

It's often hard to hear the music in-game as they've de-resed most of the audio throughout, as to why though is beyond me, and having a meek and incomplete soundtrack to buy isn't enough to make a final conclusion on how I feel about the music as a whole. It's nice, don't get me wrong, it's a bold new taste, I guess. I just wish they'd have released a proper soundtrack >:(

Edited by No one: 7/8/2013 5:53:44 PMI'm in agreement with you guys. The music sounded great, Neil Davidge was a great pick to compose the soundtrack, but I think he could have sneaked the original Halo theme in there at least a few times to confirm the connection that this is still Halo.

I actually like te music I just wish they put a bit more of the orginal halo styles in it. Like they should of asked marty for like a bit of help in transitioning from halo 3 to halo 4.

I think that it's a good direction but Neil should bring some more organic sounds to the game.

The new guys fits better i think but the happy songs that have always been present in halo are now a part of it so i think the new guy should revert a bit.
