I usually always get aced with one shot from other players. Been playing destiny for about 4 weeks now, not great at the game but not too bad (i think). Could do with some advice which could help get some kills?

Best advice is go on patrol and work on your headshot aim. If you can consistently hit the dome you will be fine in crucible.
-
Use Thorn

git gud
-
Kill stuff

Like every other FPS: learn how The weapons work, learn The maps, keep your eye At the radar, and above all ---> PRACTICE. See ya there guardian :D

Honestly, use the strangers rifle and stay near the edge of the map. It reduces chances of being flanked. Oh and control helps as you will be facing predictable attack patterns

Masturbate than go play youll see the difference!
-
Play Defensively, hold the line and don't rush head into the enemy. You must also find the weapon that suits you best, (not ARs cuz of the nerf).

Bad at crucible, any advice?
Don't play Crucibles.

Quit!

1. Create Bladedancer Hunter 2. Equip The Last Word and a shotgun 3. Average 1.0 - 2.0 KD without trying very hard.
-
Use the last word, thorn, vex mythoclast, or red death. Proceed to wreck

I recommend using a scoutrifle and a shotgun for most situations, but I choose what guns I use according to the size of the map im playing on.

Headshot

Control is a good place to start. Learn the maps, and find the gun type that suits your play style. For me, scout rifles and hand cannons work, but experiment and figure out what works for u.
-
Use thorn plus shotgun plus blink. Equals win, if you still aren't good then you shouldn't play pvp.
-
Thorn, shotgun with shot package, rocket with proximity, hand cannon reload speed gauntlets, blink, Hunter.

Get gud scrub

A lot of butt hurt will get you good lol. A few things that helped me.... --Try to stay with a group during a battle and don't be the first one to run into a hole. Experienced players leading the pack will often slow down before walking into a bullet. Following that person will let you get some shots off before being shot. --See how people kill you. Often a player will kill you from an often used vantage point. Use that knowledge to shoot from that point at a later date or keep an eye out on that area whenever you're near. --Find what gun works for you and get armor that allows for quick reload of that type of weapon. The crucible is becoming more and more primary based so try to make yourself use hand cannons, scout rifles, etc (whatever works for you). --Take the time to learn the maps. That alone will bring you up to an average player...even if your gun skills aren't all that great, yet Im not amazing or anything but these things helped me hold my own in crucible. There still a lot better players than me but I can have some great rounds and it's become an enjoyable experience, which it wasn't when I first started and was getting owned.

You won't like the answer: Practice more, learn the maps, invest in loss. There is a large learning curve, more so if you are like me and this is your first FPS. Blame yourself for every death and figure out why you died. Be on the outside of the map looking in, not inside looking out for now. As a player who was at .3 and now get mostly positive, I can say that it does get better and more fun; I almost have fun in the crucible now.
-
For me what really worked was map knowledge. Knowing where enemies will pop is very usefull plus the places that you absolutely must avoid that leaves pretty much exposed
-
Its ok to get out gunned by a better skilled player. There is one thing that is not ok. Being just plain stupid. Google is a wonderful thing. If you are playing control find out which control points are the best and go for it. Team death match is not for the beginner, control works best for beginners.

DO U HAVE THE LAST WORD??
-
I manage a .7 to .83 kill to death between 3 characters. Ive played better lately but here is the real secret. Play control, contribute, earn 4 marks for losing and if your lucky 6 for winning. Make sure you grab the bounties you may get lucky and finish a few. I hate the crucible but have played over 800 matches. Above all else have fun while you are learning the maps. Some people just have the skill set to be great at crucible. I am not one of them so I stick to the have fun part and contribute.
-
Try out new weapons... Maybe you don't think Auto Rifles or Scout Rifles (just for example) won't work out too good, but just try them anyways until you funs a gun type that you love and don't ever change it out.
