Help with Getting better gear and weapons

i'm a level 28 1/2 and still running ar9und with blue chest and helmet ythre rng god haven't been all that great to me yet maby they don't like hunters lol. would anyone be kind enough to run me through a crota normal or nightfall or both for better gear and weapons so I can enjoy the game more would mean a lot to me FAI-HUN1209 add me Thanks
