Big surprise! A kinda bland looking, expensive chevy sedan didn't sell well. It had great underpinnings and a great engine but still I'm honestly not surprised. I knew it was going to be a repeat of the Pontiac g8.

The Commodore's replacement is supposedly a 4 cylinder FWD, and apparently so is the Ford Falcon's successor. No big loss really. This was a long time coming. I only lament that they're outsourcing all their production to Asia somewhere. Soon it'll be impossible to find work in the Automotive industry in Australia.

Dude, they are both the same car just different badges ie Holden Commodores.

A choice between the Chevy SS or a Charger 392? I would take the charger any day and I like Chevrolet as a whole better.

Edited by GarrisonWhite2: 1/10/2017 6:30:12 PMWell duh. (Almost) all American cars are shitty.

It would be more appealing if they put the 7.0 in it. 415 HP isn't that much anymore when you have v6's producing over 300.
-
Why did they rename the waffen ss?
-
A guy has a black one by me, I see it all the time. The thing is beautiful in person.

Super slow
-
They wanted an excuse to make their stock car bodies less boxy. They accidentally made a semi-interesting car
-
They made the Malibus and Impalas so nice theres no reason buy the SS
-
RiP. The engine lives on though, right? Right!?

Of course it's not surprising. It's known that Holden, the makers of the SS, will cease prodution in late 2017. I believe it was announced soon after the SS was brought to market.

Oh well. It was just plain dull anyhow. So was the early 2000's GTO. I don't care how good of engine may have been in them, they're boring. So I guess the Impala will be the next NASCAR body for Chevy? After all, it and the Impala are essentially the same body anyhow.
