If I had money Bring a Trailer would take it all
Bring a Trailer is an automotive website that highlights peculiar cars that your average website might not cover. Seriously I check the site often in my spare time and I always find something I like. I found this Alfa 164 there today and oh my god I want it. If I had the money I would buy it and drive it daily. I mean of course I'd never get anywhere with it but damn just look at it. Every time I'm broken down I would just gaze at it till the tow truck driver came. Anyway discuss odd cars you love, and your favorite car on an auction site.

Then I watch tv shows that bastardize cars or take ones with promise and turn them into virtual unobtaium price wise.... adds to the pain. I still want another 1972 Mercury Montego MX. I could get the GT hood for it, drop in either a 429 or late model crate 5.0, and I'd be just fine.

4 RepliesI lurk these JDM auction/importing websites that have amazing cars that are well looked after for the most batshit low prices. I'm looking at getting a Sprinter Trueno from one when I've saved enough money. It hasn't escaped my attention that RX7 FDs are less than half the price in those auctions than the lowest asking price in Australia, and Skyline R34 GTRs are less than a third. I've also had a bit of an interest in Fiat X1/9s and Lancia Stratos Replicas, but I doubt I'd ever get one.
