Meet the Mazda Miata's Italian sister the Fiat 124 spider. Based on the new Miata, with the peach of an engine from the fiat 500 Abarth. 160hp in a car this light should prove to be fun. What are your thoughts on it?
I honestly don't think it looks that great and I think the Miata is a better looking car.

Looks dope

Spider?!? WHERE?!? KILL IT WITH FIRE
-
Looks ugly imo
-
The monza spider is cooler

The original Spyder was junk... Fiat= Fix it again Tony! ... The over all shape looks ok, but I can already tell that this car is going to be tiny!! I'm 6'2 and I can't fit into an older Miata, as I can't get my Knees under the steering wheel. Which is a shame, as they are cheap and reliable fun!... But a smaller micro sports car? ptfff no thanks. I'd rather go for an older Z3 or something.

Really simple looking. I'd drive it.

Edited by Tuxx: 11/27/2015 2:25:46 PMIt would probably be fun to drive, but I don't really care for the looks. It's not really my kinda car.

It's a FIX IT AGAIN TOMORROW
get it? Fiat fix it again tomorrow, look at the first letter of each word on fix it again tomorrow
Looks great. Still a Fiat. Pass.

I really like it! If its possible to put a Miata front end on one of those I might consider it! Love the motor and the back end looks gorgeous

The Miata is that really happy looking car, right?

There's rumors of a Abarth trim coming to this as well putting out 200hp. Even though the base engine has the 500 Abarth powertrain already. Should be fun to drive.

As an MX-5 fan, I'm not too impressed. Also, I am very skittish of anything Fiat produces. Italians don't have a great reputation for quality and they merged with Chrysler.
-
Pfff it only has 160hp? What a noob
-
Why in the hell are people downvoting this? Naught to this, but 20 to a god damned RP thread? smh fam
-
It's not tiny and dumb
-
It's definitely not ugly, but it's not a supermodel either. The interior looks super claustrophobic too.
-
Looks like a Porsche-Miata in the front and a Viper-Ghibli-Camaro in the back.

Can it survive a tank shell?
