Due to limitations there will be no H3 MM Update

in all honesty if anybody hasnt purchased halo 3's DLC by NOW they probably will never get them. For the people who are getting the game THIS YEAR for the first time will have no interest in ever buying the DLC considering the low population and just how old the game is. If 343 removes DLC requirements for the 30 or so people that will get halo 3 for free than i will be at a loss for words. (Because lets be honest the population will not rise by much maybe by like 500 -1500 people will get the game, play it for a few days, than get bored of it again.) As someone who searches 50 high matchmaking i hope to god they dont remove the DLC because i dont want to play team snipers on sandtrap 24/7 or boundless slayer 24/7 most of the maps that shipped with halo 3 BLOW compared to the DLC maps, the only exception being the pit, narrows, and construct. Seriously -Snowbound, overplayed to the point where its like a plague. -Gaurdian, every retards favorite map its always a huge stall fest at 50 high, getting nade spammed on this map is extremely easy and the team that spawns on elbow at the very beginning of the match gets easy access to both camo, over shield, sniper, and brute shot. while the other team gets a shotgun. Its horribly unbalanced but no one ever notices. -Highground, this map is a complete joke with the spawns being hilariously bad. -Epitah, this map just makes me sad everytime im forced to play it. -Isolation, you know in all honesty this isnt that bad of a map in team slayer but its absolutely terrible in team doubles im 50/50 on this one. -Valhalla, this map just isnt fun to me it never has been i hate the long open areas without any cover besides a few trees, a giant hill in the middle, a few rocks, and a pelican. the DLC maps are far more superior and they deserve to be a requirement in the playlists. 343 please have mercy on the few poor souls left(myself included) who have no interest in playing any other halo past 3.

Only thing I can say is -blam!- them for adding a "Mythic 2" DLC pack and making me have to spend more money to play in playlists that I was able to before they got a hold of it, but cannot any longer because the ODST disc and regular people who had all the DLC beforehand cannot play in them without it. This is a money grab attempt, the game was free for people, so they thought putting out some "DLC" that forces us to pay more money for playlists locks those that had all of it when Halo 3 finished it's run out of it. I'm glad I can't play any BTB and such because they wanted to get some cash out of this. They disguise it as an opportunity to play on some classics, but this game is 6 years old now, and I'm locked out of a lot of playlists because they wanted to get more money out of it now and bullshit us with some additional "maps".

343 makes halo 4 and makes changes: People hate 343i for changing their childhood MS releases halo 3 for free and and 343i decides to not change anything: People hate 343 for not updating the game and claiming 343 to be lazy. People, get your shit together!

Halo 3 is the best halo ever in my opinion i grew up playing halo 3 and still play it. The new halos are good and all but they just lack something that the old halos do, I don't know what it is but it just doesn't feel the same anymore... I miss Bungie like how they actually played with there fans... 7 on the 7th. <3 Bungie <3! Definitely looking forward to Destiny I know it will be great! :)

I'm going to laugh when Halo 3 has a bigger population than Halo 4. They should have just anniversaried H3 instead of wasting time on Halo 4.

Why does everyone look at the negative aspect of things? Did anyone think of giving 343i a thumbs up for caring about a 6 year old game? They don't have to do anything for this game, but they want to make it better for the new comers.

What 343 should do: Heroic req. for Social Big Team Heroic/Cold Storage DLC req. for Rumble Pit Remove Team Mythic Remove Social Skirmish DLC req. Heroic/Legendary req. for Action Sack (?) Take out either Swat or Snipers. Heroic/no DLC req for the one kept What 343 will do: Remove all DLC requirements Remove Team Mythic Remove Action Sack Remove Social Skirmish Remove Team Snipers Reintroduce Ranked Grifball playlist

"We removed Assault and 1 Flag and Elites so it fits more in line with Halo 4." Just waiting for it now.

"We took Ranked out because we wanted to make a more 'accessible' game."

Irony, they couldn't use the "legacy tech" to modify playlists. However, they were damn quick to put up a "BUY HALO 4" banner instead when you get to the menu. -_-

Hopefully they wont -blam!- up the only good remaining Halo game.

Can we not? 343i has already shown they have no clue how to handle playlists, and we already tried this with Halo 3. We didn't get to play any of the DLC, it was literally nothing but Valhalla and Sandtrap in BTB for like 4 months straight.
