Last game you were hyped for this much?
I was incredibly hyped for Halo: Reach, primarily because I adored the franchise.

Embarrassingly enough, Shadow the Hedgehog... Then it turned out to be a giant turd in a bucket :/ I was much younger and a huge Sonic fan and that game made me hate Sonic from then on lol

Probably bioshock infinite. They kept delaying it. And I would steadfastly refuse to watch trailers or gameplay videos so I wouldn't get spoiled. Was such a long wait...

Bungie made a lot of questionable decisions behind-the-scenes that really turned me off to the whole project for a while. (Firing Marty, signing a deal with Activision, etc...) I'm still not happy with Bungie, but the game turned out to be amazing. The most hype I've ever had for a game was Halo 3. Oh my God, I was so amped for that game. I skipped school for it, which is the ONLY time I've ever done that. Lots of Halo veterans tell me that the hype for Halo 2 was even crazier, but I only got into the series after Halo 2 had already come out, so I never witnessed it first-hand.

Final fantasy 14, the original release from like 5 years ago. Fortunately I already know Destiny can't fail at the magnitude that ff14 1.0 did lol

I remember when I was waiting at midnight release, and when I finally got my hands on it, I rushed home and put that masterpiece in my Xbox. Started multiplayer of course, and I got my first kill with the default class of a UMP-45. Dang, it was so magical. I missed those days.
