In an actual discussion value way. None of this "Dis gurl is gud" crap. I mean, like, actually talking about them and the whole industry.
As in, why are the women of the p0rn industry constantly attacked? From what I've seen, any woman who goes into the industry must be 'damaged' or 'unstable' to allow this to happen to her. And it makes no sense to me. Someone like Sasha Grey for example, she has been very outspoken about it and her reasons for doing it. It's something she wanted to do. Yet when she goes on a talk show like Trya, it's almost like she's trying to be made to feel guilty about her choice. I don't understand how some people can't grasp that some women genuinely want to go into the industry and that they don't feel shame for doing so.
What strikes me as more perplexing is that (from what I have seen) no male p0rnstar is victimised for being in the industry. I can see people using the argument of "Oh, but it's a guy so of course he's going to want to have sex so it makes sense for him to be a part of it." But that just seems absurd. It's assuming that no male p0rnstar could possibly be damaged in any state to want to join the industry. It also rejects the idea that women can actually enjoy sex and may join for that reason.
Why is it so hard for some people to understand this? It seems like there's a huge double standard and sexism relating to both genders. And with a society that has said to be overly sexualising of women, why is p0rn still such a taboo that some people feel that any woman apart of it should be ashamed yet are fine with women modelling in overy sexual ways?
I know there is some wide generalising here but you get the idea.

It's hilarious how so many teenage males are incapable of grasping the idea that women enjoy sex too, often more than men, and the idea of getting paid to do it is just as appealing to them as it is to men.

It depends. We have to look at circumstances. If anyone is to be blamed for any plight of a pornstar it wpuld be the consumer themselves. I mean look at japan and their system. Where the yakuza use debts to get girls into the industry.
-
I think it's equally bad for either gender to be involved with the insipid evil of the porn industry.

Remy Lacroix has the greatest ass.

Good point. I've also thought about this before and well civilized discussion isn't going to happen in this thread. I'm telling you.

The real victim of the porn industry is the camera man. You can't be taken seriously for a major film with a resume like that!

Edited by Pendulate: 10/12/2013 6:58:40 AMThey generally have low self respect and dignity. They choose to be known by their profession and therefore are deserving of zero respect. Not to say they don't provide a good service though lol.

I found p0rn super awkward and it always looks forced and they're not really having fun. They should get couple who are already together getting it on. It would look more natural and in my case therefore more appealing.

Men are not victimized. Women are. Damn double-standards. We are born and raised into believing that if a woman has multiple male partners, she's labeled a slut, whore, etc. But if a guy has multiple female partners, he's idolized by the younger crowd and considered a mack daddy bad ass. Women like to hook-up too. They like sex just as much as men do. When I was younger, I've partaken with the crowd and gossiped about the sluts in high school. Ridiculing them. Later on in life you begin to have different perspectives on things. Came to a realization that it doesn't really matter how many partners they've had. We're all animals with sexual desires. Sex is sex. Simple as that.

I think its an embarrassing excuse for a career. Noone wants to marry a chick who gets plowed for a living. So most likely she'll end up alone and off herself because of her low self esteem from getting jizzed on all day.
-
Some enjoy doing it, they do it for many years then quit, get married and all is good. To some it seems like it's a good idea at first but they end up not liking it. I would highly recommend a different career choice for both men and women but that's just me.

What people need to realise it's an entertainment industry that females work n not because they are desperate or forced to, but because they want to. It's not prostitution so don't treat it as such.

How do you compensate a woman for nailing her tits to a board? And its hot when women are hanged by their fits.

I dunno man, Sylvester Stallone turned out well

Mia Isabella and Yasmin lee are #1 in my book!

I find that the majority of them seem to be pretty -blam!-ed in the head, but some seem relatively normal, they're just hyper sexual. I just think it's kind of a shitty career; I mean it's basically for people who can't/think they can't do anything else but that kinda sorta like acting.
