Introductions! [general]
I figured there might as well be a general introduction thread so there's not a new thread for every new member.
I'm Mat and I'm 22. I've been looking forward to playing Destiny since it was first announced. I've been playing games since as long as I can remember, so I'm as seasoned as a turkey on Thanksgiving. Super Mario world for SNES represent! I'm originally from Atlanta, but the military's taken me to Japan. I'll be back stateside soon enough though. Guess I should mention I've never had an issue with internet connections way over there.
I'm mainly looking to do raids and strikes, with some occasional PvP. If you see me on, hit me up! PSN is Santans.

I am 24 years old and a Chemical Engineer that works at Texas Instruments in Dallas. I was born and raised in Atlanta so I am a big fan of the Falcons, Hawks, Braves and some Texas teams as well. I was looking for a clan of similar aged people that I could do strikes/raids with as I dont have many friends online. I am usually online from 5-10 CST with some food breaks somewhere in there but sometimes 5-7 hours straight. I am less free on weekends as I am visiting my fiancee or her visiting me every other weekend as she lives in Houston. I also plan on doing PVP but after I do a lot of Endgame PVE to collect equipment for Iron Banner when it happens. Big fan of the Playstation having owned every system from the PSOne. RPGs are my thing so I was very interested in how this game combines RPG/FPS/MMO and I love love love this game. Hope to have great times with yall! I'm a level 25 Titan with the Defender subclass fully unlocked and am just over halfway done unlocking the Striker subclass. Been a Bungie fan since Marathon first came out back in the day. So, I was a big Halo fan. I was also big into WoW for a long time and was the main tank for my guild for a couple of years. I'm looking forward to getting into some of the new content with you all! I should be available to play most nights after 7pm Central and have a mic (though I haven't had an opportunity to test it so far). Weekends I should be available a lot more for longer activities. I've been focusing on trying to build up Queen's Wrath reputation lately – still quite a ways to hit Rank 2 though. Hoping to at least make Rank 2 before the event ends. Aside from that, I've mostly just been trying to get good enough gear to be viable in the higher end content. As I'm sure you've noticed at this point, I'm much more into PvE content than PvP. Hey guys. I've been playing Destiny solo, but figured it might be nice to do more social stuff. Came across you guys and thought it might be a good fit. I tend to keep odd hours, so even though I live in Nova Scotia it's possible to find me on at any point of the day or night. I tend to keep my gaming more casual for the most part though as I have the beginnings of carpel issues and so sometimes need to stop playing. I can also find my skills lacking, being a bit of a newbie in FPS's, so I tend to stay out of the Crucible for the most part. I'm not sure how well my mic works, but I do have one. 1 ReplyHi my name is Darren, I'm from Ireland so on GMT time schedule but when not working I tend to play pretty late so be grand. I have a mic but don't like using it too much but I will if necessary. I'm looking for some cool people to play with who aren't too serious about being the best and raging out and blaming everyone and their mother if we lose a game (see majority of FF14 players). Hit me up for some Destiny if you want, I'm sick of playing 90% of it solo! I have a lv27 Hunter and need help usually for daily and weekly strikes, the final strike mission to get my Thorn exotic as well as on raids which I only know till after the gorgon part. The lack of matchmaking is just crippling this fun game for me beyond belief and most people won't accept fireteam invites. I'm not greedy, more than happy to help people in Crucible or other missions they are stuck on. I'm 27 years old and like to just play for fun chilling out, if I ever quit a mission its cos I got lagged out. I have a mad nerd room full of statues and been playing games since the Mega Drive as a kid and will die an old man waiting for a Skies of Arcadia and Onimusha HD collection or sequel that's never happening haha :P Sorry for the wall of text! Hey all! My name is Christian. I am 26 and live in Philadelphia, PA. I love playing games and I am looking forward to seeing all what Destiny has to offer with all of you. I primarily enjoy FPS style games, but my favorite overall game series is the Mass Effect trilogy. Some other notable favorites that aren't FPS include Skyrim, Civilizations, Red Dead Redemption, PS2 Ace Combat games, and original Mercenaries (2 was a pile of shit IMO). I have been a PlayStation owner going back to the PS2, but i have also owned a Xbox and 360 (until the second one RROD the second time). My first system was a Sega Genesis, which i still own (Sonic 2....enough said). Other than gaming, I enjoy riding motorcycles, watching College football (got season tickets), and going to bars/generally partying. As for Destiny game play, I am much prefer to play the PVE modes. Hit me up if you ever want to strike, raid, or generally patrol. I am playing as a Voidwalker Warlock now (level 20 as of this post) and I am planning on specking a support oriented Sunsinger Warlock for raiding. Still have alot of work to do with the latter.

I'm corpse, 27, residing in Tennessee. Destiny is the first console shooter I've gotten into since Goldeneye 64, as I was primarily a PC gamer before I got the PS4. Anyway, game felt pretty lonely since I don't have any PSN friends. Hope no one will mind if I add them tomorrow. (Have mic.)
