To put it quite simply- WE ROCK. Have you ever noticed how you login to play a multiplayer game and almost immediately your enjoyment is destroyed by some petulant twit who seems to have nothing better to do than try and tick off you and everyone else playing the game? Annoying, isn't it? That is the antithesis of what the DoD ArchAngels are about. We are a group of like-minded individuals with families and careers who like to get together and regulate the Darkness like nobody's business. We like to kick butt and chew bubblegum, but we're usually all out of bubblegum. This is the type of group where your sense of humor and class will get you a whole lot farther than your k/d ratio. If any of this sounds appealing to you, by all means, let your freak flag fly and join up! I promise you will not regret it. Happy hunting!

Sons/Daughters of Destiny

Does anyone here have kids who play Destiny? My son plays and we've been trying to figure out how to get him hooked up with some people in his age range that may be able to raid. He can hold his own in PVE and excels at PVP. Quick story, when IB first came around he looked at the bounties. He selected the MVP bounty that automatically levels you up to rank one with IB if you are the MVP (highest point total for the whole match). He said he wanted to get that one done and out of the way. But he's a slacker and didn't get it until his second match. Missed on the first match by five points. I don't even grab that bounty because it winds up taking up a slot for, like, ever. I'm posting here first because I'm cautious of getting my son involved in too much info sharing online due to some wackos out there. I prefer to work with people that seem to be similar minded to me about gaming and also expect/understand if some here prefer some kind of screening process before letting their kids game with mine. Any other suggestions/advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

  • I just started a new group for this purpose. It's called "Nextgen of DoD PS4" and I hope we can get our kids together to play. My son brought a hunter to 31 and titan to 27 from scratch. He is dying to raid with people, but I don't want him playing with wacko randoms. Join the new group and let's get our kids together to have fun.

    • Taz, I think this is a great idea, but I am one of the guys who actually doesn't have any kids. ... I'm the Dad-type kind of guy. Here's a *bump* in hopes that others will respond for you.
