Thanks. Really interesting read. Hunters are my favorite alien species in halo, besides the forerunners and precursors.
Enjoy.]
I did thank you, you've pique my interest in Mgalekgolo
-
By thinking they are the most alien, you now get to learn about sewer worms.
-
You forgot to mention that the Hunters only accepted under the threat of total orbital bombardment if they declined the Covenant's offer. They had no way of combating their warships and had to accept.

My man is a Hunter, and I approve this message.
-
Good read and all, but you forgot to add that the Lekgolo only joined under threat of having there home world bombarded from orbit.

Awesome work!

Edited by NAStheMagiking: 9/6/2014 3:42:05 PMI remember reading more about the Lekgolo in the Halo Encyclopedia, and thinking how fascinating they were. I'm pretty sure said book mentioned that the Covenant resorted to orbital bombardment due to efforts on the ground not going so well. I don't recall an Arbiter stepping in, though I do remember the negotiations. I thought talks came after the aforementioned bombardment helped them eventually best the Lekgolo. Anyway, interesting read. Very well written. I'd like to see more of this species. Love that we got a look an individual Lekgolo, in FUD.

Stinking symbiotic worms ;)

So the hinters are just giant, moody introverts?

This was very interesting to read. Thank You!

Pretty interesting read.

Too long
Did read :)
All they wanna do is slim down enough so they can fit in their cloaks :o

Edited by Symmetry: 9/6/2014 6:46:41 AMThe only reason Hunters continued to serve under the Covenant was because Bungie didn't want to confuse a new generation of Halo players. Isn't that what Staten stated in the Halo 3 commentary video?
And Bungie probably didn't want to add new enemies.
