Version 1.0.2.0 has now been submitted for certification. It should be available in the next few days. Here's a run-down of what's new in v1.0.2.0:
Redesigned Navigation Structure
The app's homepage navigation structure has been redesigned to make way for more features later on. The 'Switch Guardian' and 'About' links have moved out of the app bar and into a dedicated navigation section to the left of the 'Guardian' section. This section will be where future features such as Grimoire, Tower Map and Social features will appear. The 'Refresh' button is still in the app bar.
App News Feed
There's now an additional link in the navigation section called 'App News'. This link takes you to a dedicated page showing app announcements pulled from this Bungie.net group. When there's a new announcement, a number will be displayed next to the link. My hope is that this feature will help to engage users a bit more and ensure you're all informed about the status of the project.
Light Stat Support
The app will now show your Guardian's 'Light' stat as well as the 'Light' stat of a piece of gear. Once you hit Level 20, the experience bar will vertically split into two. The top blue bar shows progress to your next Mote of Light. The lower yellow bar shows progress to your next Light Level. Your Level will also be displayed in yellow once you hit Level 20.
Ability Kill Stats
You can now see statistics for your Melee, Grenade and Super Kills for each activity type. To see these stats, tap on an activity type in the 'Activities' section of the homepage and scroll down to the 'ABILITY KILLS' sub-header.
Post-game Carnage Report UI Tweaks
Viewing player details in a Crucible post-game carnage report which isn't Rumble will now show an icon of what team (Alpha or Bravo) they played for during the match.
Viewing a post-game carnage report for a PvE activity will now show the difficulty level of the activity e.g. Level 7 Strike, Level 20 Story, Level 26 Raid etc.
Bug and crash fixes
I've fixed a crash which was caused by user's changing their Gamertag / PSN ID after they'd used the app. The app couldn't find data linked to the old account so it would crash. This issue is now resolved and will ask you to specify your new account upon updating the app. If you are experiencing this crash right now, reinstalling the app should fix the issue.
I've fixed a bug which caused some weapons and gears to have an extra node in their talent grid trees which wasn't supposed to be there. I noticed this error particularly with weapons obtained from completing the Vault of Glass.
I've also improved crash reporting in this update. Users won't notice anything new however the crash reports now contain more details about certain types of errors which should help me track down more bugs in the future.

Great app! It's awesome you have put so much time into this app. What features are you planning or wanting to add to this app? TitanDCLXVI

Awesome app for wndows phone and thanks for supporting the windows livers out there as not much do. I have a couple suggestions if you could add the actual image of our guardian's that would be awesome instead of the shadow. You know we like to show them off. Also a couple of other stats like hours of game play and stuff like that. Thanks guys for being so awesome!

Just a suggestion. If you could add the info for the public events into your app it would put you ahead of the official competition.

Your app is really cool I love it and I'm very glad that someone supporting the Windows Phone. Unfortunately, Bungie has obviously not feel like it. I have an idea for a feature. I would like to save the different profiles, so I can switch faster between me and my friends without any time to enter their name.

I love that you do update/patch notes like Bungie, explaining everything to us!

I'm glad that since they weren't going to release an official app for windows phones, that we have such a heavy hitter on our team to provide us with a great application that could potentially go toe to toe with the sponsored official app. Your work is amazing my friend and I look forward to your future updates.

Its a very good app but I suggest they add the 3D model of the guardians like the official version.

Edited by Seraph: 10/6/2014 3:08:41 AMDude, this is amazing. I've been wanting to make a Destiny app that tracked the Vendors and then translated the refresh time to the date/time of the time zone you are currently in. If you ever need help, I'd be so willing to help out on something like this. I'm a .NET developer and am currently teaching myself WP8.1 development. I've been really needing an idea for an app, and my app idea is what is getting me to start getting into 8.1 development. It would even be neat if I could work on my idea within your app. Maybe you could branch it (if you are using the free online TFS) and I could try to integrate my idea into an appropriate area of the app.

Amazing job, congrats!!!

Aye, like Fred11235, I wanted to say good work and thanks. You've put together a really nice and useful Windows Phone app, and it's cool to see you're listening to user feedback (can't wait for the Grimoire support). Keep it up :)

Just wanted to say thanks for the great app and the continued effort. As a fellow windows phone dev I can only congratulate you on your great UI, I know that it must have been a lot of work.
