I already hate the changes being made to special ammo. I honestly don't know how I will play PvP moving forward

Well it will certainly will change the flow of the crucible no doubt. I for one will welcome the change to the people that use their secondary weapon for an entire match. Certainly will cut down the blink shotgun users.

Try changing your look sensitivity? A bump in one direction or the other can make a dramatic difference. Have you seen or tried the KontrolFreeks analog stick extenders? They extend the radius of the analog stick which allows for finer control while aiming. Also allows you to up the look sensitivity. Another thing to do is turn off any kind of automatic adjustment function (ie auto contrast, sound normalization, etc etc.) in your TV's menu. They can introduce a fair amount of lag between the TV receiving and displaying a frame. And there is always this https://youtu.be/JgHXJ7x_Yb0?t=2m19s

Edited by Veight7: 4/10/2015 2:25:38 PMMy biggest gripe about the change is that it will make the void kill part of the already unnecessarily difficult (not that hard but way more than any other exotic bounty) thorn bounty even harder. Unless there is a void primary I'm unaware of I did them with a void shotgun, truth and Armamentarium in defender.

All it will change is that people will return to using invective and ice breaker... Get a full clip, then switch to your secondary of choice on your next spawn...

Call me a hack, but I am notoriously inaccurate at range. I used to use suros and was passable. Suros got nerfed, so I switched to a pulse. Again, pulse rifles are harder for me to use, so I rely more on my shotgun now. So this sucks for me. This just strikes me as one more example of bungie telling us how they want us to play their game. And while they claim they do it to enable all types of players to be successful, it feels more like they are responding to the loudest complainers. And they are inherently telling us that certain playstyles are wrong. So if I want to rely on a shotgun, I now need to run universal remote?

The PvP changes feels to me like a dumb down. They are trying to reduce the learning curve for PVP. For example, a heavy ammo timing on screen, sirens going off, a more advanced warning, and a visual effect near where the crate will drop. It's pretty simple heavy ammo drops starting at 9:00 minutes and approximately every three minutes after that. If you've played more than two pvp matches you can figure it out, if not your mental capacity deficiencies disqualify you from deserving heavy ammo. In other words your too stupid to play with the bang, bang gun. My fear is this change will have the opposite effect. Rather than adding more variety to the game, it will make it even more vanilla. Personally I loved seeing a big lumbering Titan trying to close the gap holding his trusty boom stick, there is not a better target for space herpies or two bursts from the "I love you" gun. It's a shame that they listen to the "squeaky wheels." As the kids say, "haters gon'a hate" certain people will always find something to complain about. I'd love to see the stats of some of the squeaky wheels. My guess is they probably sucked at the beginning, sucked after each nerf/buff update, and will continue to suck because they would rather squawk than put in the effort to get better. Effort equals results, its a very simple equation. Unfortunately, Bungie is rewarding online temper tantrums with cookies. The number one problem in PvP (which has existed since release) is lag. Put me in a game with no lag and I'm happy to go toe-to-toe with anyone wielding any weapon. That issue should be getting 100% of bungie's PvP attention as it makes some game unplayable.

Im fine with it but it just means more people will crutch themselves w Thorn.

It might be a little over kill at this point. I mean not only are they going to spawn less frequently and in less places, but also drop less ammo per crate.
