clown cartridge question
Got a hypothetical here.
I have the One Way Ticket 000 rocket launcher. I have unlocked 3 rockets to a mag. It has field scout which gives me max ammo capacity. It also has clown cartridge with the ability to have a larger magazine when you reload.
My question is this. When I pick up heavy ammo with a 3 round launcher like Truth in crucible, I usually get 3 rounds plus 1 extra. Now if I have clown cartridge with that 1 left over, could I still get a larger mag?

The extra ammo from the clown cartridge perk comes from thin air, not the heavy ammo reserve pool. essentially free rockets.

Only after the reload. Once you burn the three, it has a chance to give you 1 extra on the reload. Works for ammo pickups as well. Mine goes off about 1/3 of the time in pvp on my valedictorian.
