I remember about two years ago that the Metropolitan Police, based in London, made a statement detailing about the fact that any information regarding suspected Anarchists should be reported.
I would like to detail a few things about "Anarchy", or more specifically, Anarchism so people don't spread and use utter misinformation in the formation of their opinions. This is purely in ideological terms, the practical application is another discussion. Anarchy does not, in the political sense, equal a state of chaos, lawlessness or disorder. Anarchy does not entail a lack of infrastructure. Anarchy is anti-capitalism - anarcho-capitalism is an oxymoron.

No. As long as they don't do anything illegal, they're fine.
-
ITT: smug statist scum casually dismissing superior political stances.
-
No they shouldn't. They should only be reported if they act on their beliefs.

Edited by Diplomat: 11/16/2013 4:13:44 AMAnarchists should be reported to the police if they are suspected of being involved in terroristic or violent activities. Otherwise, it don't matter to me. You can have your silly beliefs.
-
Why should I care about your stupid beliefs?

Google "define anarchy" for accurate results :o

Anarchy isn't anti-capitalist.

Edited by challengerX: 11/8/2013 8:19:08 PMSnitching is pretty lame. Unless it's a rapist or serial killer.

Not unless they flip a car over and torch it or something. If they want to vent their angsty rage in a dark corner of the internet, fine.

yeah cuz they like worship satan right?

Only if there's ANY indication of violence.

Umm... this is one of the rare times I will answer with just: 1st Amendment bro.

I'm curious, can you explain the differences between anarcho-communist versus a marxist? OT: obviously any body who doesn't support the status quo are wrong and should be shunned from society.

You're a tard

Anarchy IS anti government, not anticapitalism.

Edited by Progo: 11/8/2013 8:38:56 PMEveryone is entitled to their beliefs, I don't usually think of anarchists as violent. If I think someone is going to hurt another person, I'd tip off the police. Interesting that the Metro police would do that, do you think something triggered it? So to answer your question, no, they shouldn't.
-
Whilst Anarchy itself might not be a disorganised/violent political system Anarchists generally are. They are the sort of people to burn down buildings and post letter bombs. So yes an anarchist in that sense should be reported to the police. However someone who just likes the ideology isn't a threat to anyone and so reporting that would be a waste of police time.

No, arrest the idiots who think Communism actually works and would make for a valid replacement for capitalism. I'll dial 911 right now.
-
I don't think that's necessary to ensure any sort of public safety, so no. Furthermore, anarchists are all too frequently mistreated in prison (well, everyone in prison is, but anarchists often get solitary confinement etc.).

No more than a dirty commie.
I keed
If they create trouble I guess.
