Who wants Microsoft to make the Xbox One stream capable?
I've been thinking a lot lately about how great it is to be able to upload videos to YouTube and everything but I have to say that the PS4 really upstepped the Xbox One with live streaming, and I feel that the Xbox One could do better in that sense. I would really love for Microsoft to take a while to update the Xbox One to be able to live stream liike it's competitors. I feel as though I'm missing out on connecting with my viewers personally while gaming. If Microsoft would make this happen I'd be astonished for one, and would gladly recommend it to anyone. But as for the moment there are a few things missing from the console that I feel would make it a better console for gamers. Because honestly I don't watch TV and I get no use out of having it and other forms of 'entertainment' all in One place. I feel that the console should be based more on people who play games then on apps, and shows. But that's me, and I'm sure many of you would have a mmuch different view on that. But back to the subject I really, really want live streaming to be a feature of the Xbox One. Thanks for reading! - Death by Mint

This, of course, has since been updated. Have you tried streaming from the Xbox One yet? I find it rather nifty, if a bit unreliable.

5 RepliesI'll never understand why anyone would want to watch someone play when you could just go play yourself. My only exception would be pro gamers that are actually giving out advice on how to be better at a game. Especially MP type games. Have actually gained some tips that have actually improved my performance. The other would be walkthroughs. I do like upload studio even though there are some tweaks that need to be made.

I'm not exactly in that "need it now" category, especially since there aren't many games on it right now that I'd like to stream, maybe Battlefield 4 but that's it. I know that some of my friends would probably watch and that's good enough for me, but I'd like more variety by the time the Twitch streaming is made available.

I don't really care about streaming myself. By the way. Did you know the X1 streams at a higher quality than the PS4 when using Twitch? X1 runs 1280x720, PS4 runs 960x540.

I read 'stream' as 'Steam' and thought you were gonna go off about how "IT WAS JUST STEEAM ON CONSOLES GUYS OND YA RUINNNED MAH INNOVATIONZZZZZ" But on topic, I wouldn't mind really. I personally don't stream, but if the console has the capability it doesn't hurt me.
